If you are a group, I can offer a queen sized memory foam mattress in another bedroom. These 2 rooms/bathroom are located in the front of the house allowing you privacy, while I am in the back.
The Master bedroom/bathroom may be available if you require more space. The price listed is for the one guest bedroom only. We can negotiate if you require additional rooms.
I have a 2-night minimum stay for one bedroom. Groups of three or more may book for single nights. Send me a message and we can discuss.

Breakfast is not provided, but I can offer coffee or tea. There are several cheap breakfast spots close to my house including the ever popular Three Coins Diner. Publix grocery store is less than a mile away.
There's a decent restaurant right around the corner that I recommend called Ella's.
The Taco Bus restaurant is a few blocks further. It's open 24/7:
There is a bus that stops at the end of my street. It can run you straight downtown as well as other places in Tampa, including the airport. Best to have your own transportation in Florida.
I have a free Dali Museum pass and parking pass to use for females- price is normally $26.
Please be aware that Tampa is not on the beach. If you wish to be closer to the Gulf, search for Clearwater, Treasure Island, St. Petersburg, Gulfport, Redington, Bradenton, Sarasota to name a few.
Please upload a photo of yourself for your profile. I won't host a faceless person.
Ladies and gents, you are welcome to smoke, but only on the front and back porches.
Please remove high heels, stilettos, or any footwear that will pit my wood floors. The floors have been lovingly restored, and I want to avoid damages. If you plan to cha-cha-cha in the living room or dining room, please do so in your socks.
Please keep food out of the bedrooms. Did you see the photos of my kitchen? It's huge!
Cathi could not have been more welcoming to my friend and I. She was the epitome of Southern hospitality, and a joy to interact with. One of the fondest memories I have of my trip to Tampa was the night Cathi and I just sat around talking. We chatted for nearly two hours. And the whole time she took a genuine interest in me and my life, and I could not have been more appreciative. Everything about Cathi's listing was as she described it. It was a fantastic place to stay while attending a conference in Tampa. The beds were extremely comfortable, and we had full access to every area of the house, including the kitchen and outdoor patio area. We received our own keys, which was extremely convenient. Transportation to the downtown area was also quick and painless. While we did not utilize the offer to borrow her two bikes, that was an option that she gave us to get around. For anyone looking into a quiet, relaxing, quaint place to stay, this is the place for you! I would happily stay with Cathi again and again. And I look forward to the next time that our paths cross =)
There aren't enough words for describing how great our time at Cathi's has been. She's a fabulous host, the house is so cute and cozy and we'll never forget the time we spend just sitting and talking.
The area she lives in is pretty well located and you can go downtown by bike easily.
If we ever get back to the Tampa area we'd definitely stay with her again!!!
Cathi was an excellent hostess. This was my second stay at her home when in the Tampa area. The location is very convenient for reaching downtown, about 3-4 miles north. Her house was extremely clean and she helped out with my questions on directions and where to find places in the area. She was very welcoming and invited me to use anything I needed around the house during my stay. If her guest room is available, I will book here again when I need a place to stay in Tampa.
I arrived in the evening starving with takeout food in hand. Cathi greeted me at the door and helped provide me with everything I needed. Cathi was super super friendly and welcoming. This was especially appreciated as it was my first airbnb experience. Cathi's place was quiet, clean and very welcoming. She even provided an umbrella, beach chairs and a cooler to use for our day at the beach. Cathi is such a gracious host and have us great recommendations for sightseeing. I would highly recommend staying with Cathi if you get the chance!
Host definitely made us feel welcome and the house was very nice! She did great!
Our stay with Cathi was wonderful. She was an excellent hostess, made us feel right at home, and had great tips for us as tourists new to the Tampa/St Pete's area. Her place was just as described. We used both front rooms; the rooms, including the bathroom, were clean and comfortable. This was my first stay using airbnb, and thanks to Cathi, I am now hooked!
Of all the places I stayed at with airbnb, Cathi's is my absolute favorite! Her house is nice, clean and just so cozy. It's in a cute neighborhood and close to some good places to eat. If you've never been to Tampa, ask Cathi about things to do - she knows the area really well and has some awesome recommendations. She's been really helpful and had interesting stories to tell, but also gave us our privacy. If I ever come back to Tampa, I'm definitely going to stay at her place again!
