My home is centrally located in Southeast Seminole Heights. A quiet neighborhood close to the 2 interstates that will connect you to beaches, theme parks, stadiums, and the airport. Minutes from the downtown convention center.
Hardwood floors throughout the house as well as tiled kitchen/bathroom.
I have a private guest room with a brand new queen sized memory foam mattress. A private bathroom with shower and tub. If you are a group, I can offer a queen sized memory foam mattress in another bedroom. These 2 rooms/bathroom are located in the front of the house allowing you privacy, while I am in the back.
The Master bedroom/bathroom may be available if you require more space. The price listed is for the one guest bedroom only. We can negotiate if you require additional rooms.
I have a 2-night minimum stay for one bedroom. Groups of three or more may book for single nights. Send me a message and we can discuss.
You will have full access to the living room, kitchen, and large covered porch in the back yard. Total space is 2000 sq ft (186 sq m). Washer/Dryer available. Off street parking. WiFi throughout home. Sorry, no television.
Breakfast is not provided, but I can offer coffee or tea. There are several cheap breakfast spots close to my house including the ever popular Three Coins Diner. Publix grocery store is less than a mile away.
There's a decent restaurant right around the corner that I recommend called Ella's.
The Taco Bus restaurant is a few blocks further. It's open 24/7:
There is a bus that stops at the end of my street. It can run you straight downtown as well as other places in Tampa, including the airport. Best to have your own transportation in Florida.
I have a free Dali Museum pass and parking pass to use for females- price is normally $26.
Please be aware that Tampa is not on the beach. If you wish to be closer to the Gulf, search for Clearwater, Treasure Island, St. Petersburg, Gulfport, Redington, Bradenton, Sarasota to name a few.
Please upload a photo of yourself for your profile. I won't host a faceless person.
Ladies and gents, you are welcome to smoke, but only on the front and back porches.
Please remove high heels, stilettos, or any footwear that will pit my wood floors. The floors have been lovingly restored, and I want to avoid damages. If you plan to cha-cha-cha in the living room or dining room, please do so in your socks.
Please keep food out of the bedrooms. Did you see the photos of my kitchen? It's huge!
Our stay with Cathi was wonderful. She was an excellent hostess, made us feel right at home, and had great tips for us as tourists new to the Tampa/St Pete's area. Her place was just as described. We used both front rooms; the rooms, including the bathroom, were clean and comfortable. This was my first stay using airbnb, and thanks to Cathi, I am now hooked!
Of all the places I stayed at with airbnb, Cathi's is my absolute favorite! Her house is nice, clean and just so cozy. It's in a cute neighborhood and close to some good places to eat. If you've never been to Tampa, ask Cathi about things to do - she knows the area really well and has some awesome recommendations. She's been really helpful and had interesting stories to tell, but also gave us our privacy. If I ever come back to Tampa, I'm definitely going to stay at her place again!
Cathi is a GREAT host and super chill. She has lots of good suggestions and stories. Her place is very comfortable and cute. The neighborhood is nice and the restaurant at the corner is amazing! I would love to stay here again the next time I am in Tampa! Thank you Cathi for your hospitality.
Cathi is the consummate host. My flight was delayed by 3 hours but that was not an issue. She made me feel welcome from the moment I parked in the driveway until I departed. She provides endless tea, coffee and even red wine :)- Her house is very easy to get to from the airport and even though it is conveniently located off the interstate, her home is in a very quiet neighborhood of restored bungalows.
Cathi is such a great host ! My girlfriend and I stayed at her place for two nights, and Cathi was so charming and nice to us . We really enjoyed our stay at Tampa ; and we definitely recommend the place.
Her house is very well located , 10 min to downtown by bus ( and less than 15 min to Busch Garden) . The house is charming, the room is very clean and comfy and we had our own bathroom .
She provided us valuable advices and made us feel at home by offering us coffee , wine .. She helped us in so many ways , like when she offered to give us a ride to the bus station at 10:30 pm the night we left .
Thank you so much for your kindness Cathi , if we come back to Tampa it would definitely be at your place !
We hope to see you soon !

Comfortable. Beyond comfortable, if that's even possible. She made us feel right at home from the moment we got there. I'd give this experience and the host 6-stars if it were possible.
Catie is very individual, charming person and super host. She make sure that we have all stuff that we need, give us cafe, wine and tee...spices, good music and let us feel like we was at our own home. We had that feeling that we are her friends...
The place is much bigger, we had separate bathroom.
It was great experience with Catie.
We love you :)
