Gelya's place was very nice! The neighborhood is very lively, lots of shops and restaurants/bars around, and very close walk to lower east side for even more. Gelya was very easy to reach, gave great suggestions, and was flexible with us when we needed to stash our bags before check in. The apartment was up several flights of stairs so street noise was never a problem and the bed was very comfortable. Thanks for the hospitality!

It was great! In order to get to Times Square/uptown, it was two subways, transfer between the 2. But the hosts were fantastic and so accommodating with holding our bags until we were ready to leave, and allowing us to play their records, use their Apple TV, etc. fantastic view from the bedroom, clean. Pretty small but oh so cute!

The place was very clean and the location is great; LES and East village is where all the good eats are, so it's an awesome location for foodies. DUMBO is one stop away on the "F" Train and has great views of both bridges from pebble beach, as well as the iconic DUMBO photo-op at Washington/front street. It is on the fifth floor and getting your bags up there (if you have big luggage) is a bit of a struggle but luckily you've only gotta do it twice -- at check in and check out :p Piya and Gelya were both great with communication and extremely accommodating with regard to leaving our bags before check-in time as well as holding our bags for a short time after morning check-out. The value for the place was great for an entire week in NYC!

Gelya's place is great; exactly what it looks like in the photos. The location is fantastic. And the bed and pillows are even comfy! Would definitely stay here again. Thanks, Gelya!

I had a great experience staying st Gelya's place. It was exactly as advertised -- cozy and on a 5th floor walk up. The apartment was clean and I did some simple cooking in the kitchen, which was a great way to save money. It was very convenient to galleries and art spaces (Abrons Art Center, 3 Legged Dog Art & Technology Center, yoga and dance studios). Communication with Gelya was prompt, clear and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
