Inside the home:

The home has a total of 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths plus 2 1/2 baths. 4 bathrooms are in the house (all bedrooms are ensuite plus a 1/2 bath in the hall) and 1 bath is outside off the patio.

You'll walk in to find a large, open floor plan with several seating areas, a comfortable living room with a large 75" smart TV with Sonos ARC sound, a dining room with a table for 6, a dry bar, a sitting area, and large kitchen, perfect for cooking enthusiasts with counter seating. This large open area looks out upon the pool, spa, putting green, and backyard through glass doors that span the back wall. The entire home is outfitted with remote-controlled blinds that raise and lower at the push of a button.

The south wing of the home has two bedrooms: one, ensuite with a king-size bed, desk, 40" smart TV, and slider to the pool area, and another ensuite, with XL twin beds (that can be made into a king upon request), and a 40" smart TV.

The north wing of the home has a 1/2 bathroom off the hall, a full laundry room with storage and sink, entry from the garage, and the luxurious master bedroom ensuite with a king bed, 85" smart TV with Sonos ARC sound, independent A/C, and 2 sliders to the pool, spa, and backyard.

The home has been thoughtfully decorated with care and love and is not a typical rental. This home is special and meaningful to the owner with real art upon the walls and mid-century furnishings befitting a fine home. The goal is to provide a welcoming, home-like feeling to our guests. Not simply just another rental. We hope you'll let us host you!

Outside the home:

The home is completely surrounded by a masonry fence and a hedge for privacy.

In front, there is a (remote controlled) gated driveway that leads to a one-car garage available for you to park in. There is additional parking for 2 more cars inside the gate. The pedestrian gate is accessible by a coded entry system with a keypad for easy entry. Once inside the gate, there is an electronic lock on the front door for easy entry into the house. You are provided with codes for access and a remote for the driveway gate.

In the backyard, you will find a beautiful pool and spa, a fire feature, and a fabulous putting green to keep you busy working on your game! There is a 1/2 bathroom right off the patio.

The patio also includes a dining table for 6 with a remote-controlled awning for dining al fresco. Sun loungers and umbrella, and comfortable seating for watching the falling stars around the fire at night.

The pool can be heated for a fee in the winter months.

There is a large BBQ grill with a prep area.

*The home has a whole house water softening system making the water drinkable from the tap and smooth upon your skin.

Pool/Spa heat is optional. Most will not need the pool heated in the warmer months (June - October). The daily fee is $60 daily ($350 per week). If you choose pool heat, the pool will be heated daily 8 am - 5 pm to 86 degrees (considered a comfortable swimming temperature) and will be added to the total.

Please note a one-time cleaning fee is additional. Pets are allowed on approval and with a one-time pet fee. 11.5% city taxes are included in the nightly rate. (12.5% after July 1, 2021)

********************COVID INFORMATION**************************************

The following are City of Palm Springs/County Health Department Requirements for renting during the COVID crisis: (these orders change frequently as the intensity of the virus changes and our needs to mitigate it change as directed)

•All guests are required to wear masks when in public per state order posted in the home.
•Social Distancing must be maintained at all times when in public.

Host Palm Springs has adopted the CDC Facility Cleaning Protocol for this and all of our properties. This house is cleaned to this standard between each rental.

Cancellations in the time of Covid are a concern for all. With the ever-changing landscape and uncertainty that the virus leaves us with, we understand that you may need more assurances that you are booking a property that you will actually have the opportunity to use. In an attempt to relieve some of this uncertainty, we are extending a special circumstances exemption to our stated cancellation policy posted below.

In the event of an official government mandate that leaves our rental shut down, or in the event of an official government travel mandate that keeps you from getting to the property, we will allow cancellation of your reservation with a full 100% refund.

Outside of these very specific exemptions, our stated cancellation policy will remain. Please be advised that there is always risk involved with travel and you are advised to purchase travel insurance to mitigate your risk.

Other things to note
**By City of Palm Springs Ordinance, the following are required to rent a short term rental in the city:
1. Renter (responsible party) must be at least 25 years of age.
2. Responsible party must present government issued I.D. at check-in and I.D. must be copied (photographed). A copy of I.D. is kept by management while guest is at property and will be shared with Vacation Rental Compliance Officials on demand as required by law.
3. Responsible party (renter) is required to sign a short term rental agreement(contract) at check-in.
4. All guests are required to print and sign names to City of Palm Springs confirmation that Good Neighbor Brochure (which hangs in the home) has been read and understood by all adult occupants.
5. No more than 2 adults per bedroom are allowed to occupy the home overnight with 2 additional guests allowed during daytime hours. An additional 2 children under the age of 12 are allowed per rental.
6. No more than 1 car per bedroom are allowed to be parked at the house overnight with 1 additional car allowed during daytime hours.
7. Trash must be kept in the provided receptacle out of public view.
8. Dogs are to be kept on a leash at all times when not in the home or in the confined space of the property. Dogs are to be kept from barking. A consistently barking dog is considered a nuisance.
9. Outdoor music is prohibited 24 hours per day. It is further expected that noise created at the home will not be audible beyond the property line.

**These rules are set forth by City Ordinance and apply to ALL rentals in the City of Palm Springs. They are intended to help create peaceful neighborhoods in which rentals exist. We are committed to complying with these rules and ask all of our guests to carefully consider them before booking. We want you to enjoy your vacation in Palm Springs, but we want our neighbors to not be negatively affected by the use of this home as a vacation rental.**
