The Space

If you want to have a real Amsterdam experience, enjoy this beautiful and spacious appartement in the centrally located 'Pijp': this very hip neighborhood is one of the most cosmopolitan and vibrant districts of Amsterdam!!
The house is perfectly located, as it's in a quiet street just a minutes walk from plenty of restaurants, bars and other attractions!

Futhermore, not only the house and neighborhood will give you a sense of the local life, I have also made a book with all my favorite restaurants, bars, cafés and clubs located in the 7 best districts of Amsterdam, so you'll really get to 'experience how Amsterdam locals live'!

Ask me about the possible airport pick-up!!

The Apartment:
A very typical Amsterdam apartment in a classical Amsterdam house!
You'll have the entire appartement to yourselves!
The apartment is light and spacious!

The fully equiped kitchen has wide opening doors to the comfortable balcony, giving you a special view into the hidden green courtyard! These indoor gardens are typical in Amsterdam. You can choose to have your meal at the large dining room table inside or sitting outside enjoying the weather on the relaxing balcony!

In the centre of the house is a comfortable couch, where you can relax from a long day of sightseeing. And from which you may want to watch one the available dvd's.

As is typical in most 'de Pijp' houses, not much space is used for the bathroom. However, after a long day out, it has the perfect shower to freshen up.

The front of the house has a very cute french balcony where you can open the doors widely and can brilliantly enjoy an afternoon drink in the sun!

The bed holds a unique rolling table, which is great for placing your laptop or books on, or for a romantic breakfast in bed.
Obviously there will be a clean sheets and a set of towels!

  • Had a lovely time at Veerle. The apartment was nice and clean. The main attraction are just a short bus ride away or a 30 mins walk. I would totally recommend this flat !

  • Great apartment for couples in a very good area. The apartment is in walking distance of local bars and restaurants, and about 10 minutes from Amsterdam centre by tram. The owner Veerle is very friendly and helpful and quick to respond to emails with information. We had a great time! It would be worth pointing out that the apartment is 2nd floor, up 2 flights of steep, narrow stairs, so not suitable for people with mobility problems. But these type of stairs seem to be typical of many buildings in Amsterdam, so they are at least authentic! Veerle provides an extensive list of recommended bars, restaurants and local attractions, which must've been fun to put together!

  • Thanks so much! Was a cracking place to stay... (Excellent!!) Great resources close by, a really nice walk into town... Highly recommend a canal tour, we did the Heineken tour and it comes with a real nice canal tour into the city afterwards with cheap heinekens on the boat... We also (email hidden) bicycle tour which was amazing.. This place facilitated a very easy and enjoyable 2 night stay... Cheers big ears!!

  • Veerle's apartment was sweat and cozy. It was smaller than we expected but we thought it was comfortable, clean and in a great location. Even though we did not meet Veerle, she was always available and when we needed somewhere to leave our bags after checkout she was very accommodating. We would definitely stay there again the next time we visited!
Thank you for the lovely stay!

  • We had a fantastic time on our recent trip to Amsterdam and Veerle's apartment was perfect. On a nice quiet street not far at all from the main hub of de pijp. Everything was in walking distance, even the centre of Amsterdam itself.

Veerle was really helpful and quick to respond to our questions, would stay there again and recommend to others.

    Thanks for a great stay!

  • This was our second time staying at Veerle's place and the value for money is still unbeatable. Also, the cafes in De Pijp are really cosy places to hang out and serve some amazing sandwiches with a twist. Definitely try the chicken roll at Cafe Schilders! For restaurant recommendations and reservations, just ask Veerle. She usually replies within 5 minutes! If you want to explore Amsterdam with fewer tourist traps, this is the place to stay.
