Army beach is a popular sunbathing spot, and one of the warmest and shallowest places to swim in the Yukon, which makes it great for kids. It is a bay with beige sand, surrounded by forest and scenic mountains. It is part of marsh lake and flows north into the iconic Yukon River.
In April it is a good time to see migrating swans coming North.
Being on the edge of the tree line we have had wildlife sitings so always be aware of what is around you and keep a close eye on children and pets.

The space
Self contained cabin in the corner of the yard, very quiet and just feet from walking trails in the summer and snow shoeing in the winter.
No running water but blue jug for drinking and washing, has its own out house for that little touch of wilderness living.
Has propane heat but also has a wood stove to make it extra warm and cosy.
For those that like to stay in touch, there is WiFi and a smart TV so you can log into your Netflix or other streaming channels.
Fully equipped with all the kitchen equipment you will need with full size fridge/freezer and propane stove.
