Stay at the historic 130 year old Guthrie house overlooking Richland Park. Private upper level suite. 12’ ceilings Foyer & Tower Room. Vintage details. Business, singles, couples, family welcome! Easy Interstate access 5 minutes to downtown.

Clean, comfortable accommodations include..... A) The Sky Bedroom: [overlooking the Park, with twin mural painted antique Sligh beds], B) The Lime Bedroom: [overlooking the South Gardens], C) The Tower Room [overlooking the Park with 12’ ceilings, large TV, Wii, Dining / Game Table, microwave, mini-fridge, playing cards, board games, magazines, etc.], D) Large Bathroom, E) Spacious Entry Foyer [with 9’ door and 12’ ceilings], F) Historic stairwell [with antique Czechoslovakian crystal chandelier], G) Covered front porch with porch swing and rocking chairs, H) Gardens front and sides. Original hardwood floors in foyer, fully carpeted upstairs. We recycle and implement sustainable policies wherever possible. National Register of Historic Places on “Quality Row” within official Historic District.

Guest access
Guests have private access through the historic front door of the home. Front furnished seating porch with rockers and porch swing, gardens (entry, tropical, secret, and potager [edible Kitchen garden]) , the adjoining Library and Richland Park with full Playground, tennis, volleyball, baseball, picnic shelter, gardens, and historic marker. You control the heat and air for your suite. Owner’s live separately in back of first floor level, and enter through a separate back entrance. But are around for extra security and if you need anything.

Located on the prime street in one of Nashville’s hottest neighborhoods. Easy to get almost anywhere quickly around town. Vibrant. Safe (the West Police Precinct Station for the whole county is just four blocks down the street. Firehall and storm siren right across the street.). Unique. Diverse. National Historic District. Shops and Restaurants within walking distance. Park adjacent. Very close to McCabe Golf course and Nashville Greenway for walking trails and creek viewing. Nice walkable neighborhood as well. Bicycle lanes to downtown. Very close to historic Centennial Park, the Parthenon, West End Avenue, and the River.
