  • Kaye is a very friendly host and we enjoyed our stay. The house is 15 minutes out of Queenstown and Kaye offers a basic breakfast with the room.

  • Kaye's peaceful home is the perfect antidote to the hustle and bustle of Queenstown but still close enough to visit the town for all the adventure and experiences there and the other lovely places in the region. A warm welcome and an interesting and knowledgeable host.

  • Kaye was a wonderful host. She is very friendly and we had a really great time in her house. We recommend to go here if you stay in Queenstown :-)

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Kaye and Max, and congratulated ourselves on our choice of accommodation, close enough to Queenstown but far away enough to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this lovely location. The view from our bedroom overlooking Coronet Peak was an inspiration, and we had pleasant walks around the property orchard.
Having the room with our own washbasin was definitely a plus with quick access to the bathroom an toilet next door.
The house has a rustic charm, the breakfast is fine. Kaye and Max are very relaxed and welcoming hosts who are equally happy to talk or to give you some space.
We look forward to visiting again !

  • Kaye made her best to make us comfortable, and so that we could enjoy as much as possible or stay.
We wish we did not stay more (but we will if we can later), to enjoy a breakfast or dinner outside, in front of the beautiful mountains landscape...

  • Kaye was very welcoming and we had a nice chat on the patio, enjoying the beautiful mountain view. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was good.

  • Staying at Kaye's was great.
Kaye is very nice host and gave us all space that is needed. She is generous to simply let us use house facilities as much as needed.
Breakfast is great although our children are problematic and ate our own things.

House itself is fantastic- great views, located on nice area and is very big with huge garden.

Queenstown is 15 min drive and of course you can spend there for many days with lots of choices.

We surely recommend staying at Kaye's if you are coming to the area and wish to stay outside city center.

  • We had a wonderful time with Kaye, the property is just gorgeous, it is a great place to stay for some peace and quiet, whilst only a 15 minute drive to Queenstown. Kaye is a great host who makes you feel very welcome and who gives great inside information to help you make the most out of your stay in this beautiful part of NZ! Thanks Kaye.

Hi There. I am married to Max and we have had five children. All over 20 now. We have travelled to the Uk. a couple of times but more so to Australia, Fiji and Rarotonga where we enjoy the sun and peace. We enjoy meeting other travellers as we intend to do more travel ourselves and enjoy hearing their stories. Our home is not a palace as it has had years of having normal family life but best described as rustic, comfortable and homely on two acres, being 10 minutes from Arrowtown, Queenstown and our international airport. Our views are spectacular looking towards Queenstown's famous ski mountain, Coronet Peak. If you are after company of a couple in their 50's who have lived in this district over 30 years, or you may be after peace and quiet, then this is where that is. We enjoy watching Rugby, have an appreciation of wine and enjoy meeting all age groups.
