The space

Exceptionally large rooms and lots of light streaming into the house fill our guests with joy! This is the perfect location. Close to everything and yet it feels like you are in a little oasis. The guesthouse is a beautiful and unique retreat but very relaxed and relaxing. 5 minutes from UCLA and Harvard Westlake; 20 minutes from LAX and the Valley; 17 minutes from the beach, 5 minutes to West Hollywood and Beverly Hills, great museums and some of Los Angeles best restaurants.
Wonderful comfortable beds, spacious rooms and multiple decks, chef's kitchen. Huge skylights, retreat vibe. Yoga props and much more. Wifi, wifi printer, office, two lounge areas, plenty of off and on street parking.
Public transport is walking distance from the house; there is a market and weekly farms market at the top of our street and in bustling Westwood Village. Cinemas, the Geffen Playhouse and UCLA's dynamic concert and lecture series are literally on our doorstep.
Our favorite french patisseries The Little Next Door and Chaumont have the best croissant you'll find in LA and its 10 minutes away.
Ideal for up to 10 people as its large and spacious. There are five queen beds on the premise and two twin airbeds.

Interaction with guests

We are rarely in town so there is usually little of no interaction.

The neighborhood

We love that we are 15 minutes from everywhere. We love the leafy green canyon living. We love that we have hiking trails 10 minutes from our place and a beach that you can easily get to just by turning right on Sunset!
We that the best French pastry shops Chaumont and Bouchon ( also a great French brasserie) are just 10 minutes from us. Yoga is at Yogaworks on Westwood Boulevard. Our little Glen Market is half a mile from the house and stocks a surprisingly well curated selection of wines. The Beverly Glen Center at the top of our street is the location of a Starbucks ( although we stock the best biodynamic beans on site),two great Italian restaurants, a Japanese eatery, a trendy diner style bakery which is great for celebrity spotting, and the best Jazz venue in Los Angeles, Vibrato, which is our band, Gypsy Sound Revolution's, home base when we are in LA. Wholefoods is in our Westwood Village and if you are looking for fresh coconuts, mangoes and the best Asian grocery outside of Hong Kong is driving distance at 99 Ranch market!

Getting around

Because UCLA is close by, there is a major hub and buses go all over LA and beyond. Uber and Lyft are readily available and there is plenty of parking off and on street.

Other things to note

Guests enjoy total privacy. Long term guests can hire TV. Cable wiring is available and ready to go. The guesthouse organizes for additional fee. The house is cabled up and ready to go.
We are extremely eco-friendly. The house has no environmental stress.

My husband and I are lovers... Of travel, music, people, life! We can't live without live food, India, Oman, Hazrat Inayat Khan and meditiation. We love LA, we love our treehouse sanctuary. Our lifestyle is informal, spacious and warm. We practice and I teach yoga. At the moment our life is all about the music and gypsies and the food. #considerthesource #100%puregypsy
