You can get to this paradise by car (1.5 hour) or by Boat for an additional cost; (of US 35 per person, for trip by car, minimun 5 pasengers, The cost of this transportation in case of less than 5 passengers will be US 155 for trip) in case of the boat this will be negociated at the moment.
because the house is in an island and the transport is dificult and expensive, we suggest you to travel with only the baggage you need, a maximun of 30 lbs its the right to be. cause we know sometimes you come from very far away, and your baggages are more, we offer you a storage for the rest of yor bags that have a cost of US $3 dolars a day per bag. Also we recommend you buy the food previously in Cartagena, so here is a link where you can look at food availability and we can get it for you before and arrange the payment when we pick you up, in case you choose the car option: (website hidden) This will make things easier for you and us!
Comfortable for big groups and cozy for a small family, Isla de Sirenas offers you 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, living room with terrace, dinning room with terrace and indoor kitchen. At only 10 min by boat you can explore Islas del Rosario, Natural National Park with it's famous aquarium.
We have house service offered by a lovely couple that have been working for us for half a year now and they will make sure to make your stay as comfortable and easy going as possible. Each day of full cooking is US 25, per cooker. we recomend that wen guests are more than 4, they use two people to help in the house, in that case it would be US 50 dolars, a day of service; they just not only cook, they will make the house too; for you to be confortable ;and tips are welcome for Mateo, the house keeper.Enjoy the hammocks, the landscape, the kayaks, the sunset and the house for your next vacations!

I rent the Baru Beach House for one week with my family and a family of friends (10 people in total), and we had a great time ! If you dream of a charming house in the middle of nowhere, to spend sunny and calm vacation, this house is for you! If you dream of a super comfortable villa with many activities in the neighbourhood, this is not for you...
The house is really charming, with basic comfort but great service (3 people will take care of the cleaning, cooking, shopping...). The house is completely isolated, with hard access (either boat or a combination of boat/ jeep/ car), so you need to buy the food for the whole stay in Cartagena. But Monica and her father will make anything possible to ease your trip (from bringing you to the supermarket and then to the boat to organizing your trip back).
In a nutshell : we were looking for a place where to disconnect from the world, we found it and had a lovely time there!
This lovely family house is in an idyllic position right on the beach only steps from the sea. It is really peaceful and relaxing with very few of the hawkers selling souvenirs, etc. that the more public places attract. The owners and the staff they employ are among the most helpful, patient people we have ever dealt with. We had requested to get to the house by road not really understanding the logistics of this. Paulo, the owner, did his best to accommodate us in this by collecting us - 8 of us! - from the airport in two vehicles, taking us and all our too bulky luggage via the supermarket to pick up supplies and then setting off for the house via mad city traffic, car ferry and country roads. However, we had to abandon these plans part way through as the access road across a beach was inaccessible with all our weight. A boat was then ordered to pick up us and our stuff and complete the journey. We then had a bit of a hair raising ride to the house through the dark. The people who undertook all these arrangements were so helpful and kind and careful of us. In future we would take the advice of all concerned and take the boat straight from Cartagena. Don't know what we were thinking of. Once at the house, Mateo, the manager (who had come out with the boat to meet us and guide us there), his wife and mother took wonderful care of us, managing the house, preparing all our meals, cleaning, fetching extra shopping from the local town and bringing in fresh fish to cook for us. Mateo took some of the more adventurous of us out by boat to explore the nearby coast and lagoon. This made it easier to have the confidence to go out exploring for ourselves using the kayaks provided. The less adventurous of us sat around on the fabulous sunloungers, drinking cocktails and watching the pelicans swoop along the shore! The bedrooms are lovely with fresh, white bedding and plenty of towels. Two are open air and two have screens at the windows. While we were there, there were very few mosquitoes or other bugs around and, although it was quite hot, most of the time there were breezes which kept things comfortable. The rooms also had a variety of ceiling and other fans which were all we needed. Our journey back was by boat all the way. Paulo ordered it for us and it drew right up onto our beach to get us all on board. The ride back was bracing but only took about 45 minutes. You need to be fairly able bodied to undertake this journey. Paulo then met us at the dock and transported us all to our next destination. A real family concern who took good care of our family. I hope we have made friends for life. Thank you from the Liverpool Family!
La Isla es un lugar mágico y la casa esta perfectamente ambientada para hacer aun más mágica la experiencia. Una opción muy recomendable si buscan descanso a través de desconectarse totalmente del mundo.
