  • We had a great time at phyllis's. Beautiful place with great view and wonderful hospitality. Would love to come back next time!

  • I stayed here with a friend who was new to AirBnB and was extremely apprehensive about the community and the concept. However after seeing and staying in Phyllis home, and meeting Phyllis herself, her fears were well and truly laid to rest.

Like everyone mentioned, the views are amazing, enjoying a home cooked breakfast on the Lanai, before a day exploring Oahu. Nice quiet neighbourhood for a peaceful rest, yet close enough to everything.

Phyllis was a warm and welcoming host, I can't recommend her and her place enough. I wished I had stayed longer if only to finish reading the Food Apocalypse Magazine!

  • Phyllis was a gracious host with a lovely home. The view there is stupendous and I'm still dreaming about sunrises seen off the lanai.

  • Phyllis was extremely welcoming and a fantastic host. Her space was clean, quiet, and comfortable to stay in. Her home is away from the touristy areas of Honolulu, which was fantastic for my wife and I. It was also pretty great waking up every morning to a stunning view of Diamond Head! I would definitely recommend Phyllis' home to other people heading to Honolulu.

  • Phyllis' house provided us with an excellent spot to explore Oahu Island. Her house has a wonderful ocean, Diamond Head crater, and the Honolulu skyline view.
It is a quiet and safe neighbourhood on the hills.
Phyllis shared her house with us and let us use all the amenities. She is an excellent host who cherishes her privacy and cares about her guest at the same time. We would certainly come back - there is so much to see and enjoy on Oahu.

  • My boyfriend and I stayed with Phyllis for 6 nights during our visit to Ohau. Her home was the perfect place for us to stay. It was very clean, comfortable and in a quiet neighborhood that wasn't too far of a drive to Waikiki. The views from her home are absolutely amazing. Phyllis was a great host to say the least. she was very nice and welcoming. She took the time to let us know of some local places to visit. She was accommodating to our late arrival and early departure. She even sent me my cellphone charger...that I had left there! I highly recommend staying here for your vacation. It definitely beats the busy tourist areas where all the hotels are and is much more affordable and worth it! Our room had a private entrance which was very convenient and there was plenty of room for us to relax on the balcony. I would absolutely book with Phyllis again for our next vacation back in Oahu.

  • My girlfriend and I headed to O'ahu for a nice end of summer vacation and decided to stay with Phyllis. We had an amazing experience. The house and room look exactly like the photos, and either Phyllis or her daughter were always available if we needed anything. I appreciated the lanai (what a view!), private entrance, and hotel-like amenities (Phyllis had the amazon foresight to include a corkscrew and wine glasses in our room before we even needed them). The location is a short, scenic drive from Waikiki with great local bars and restaurants. I can't wait to be bak on Oahu, and when I'm there I hope I can stay with Phyllis again.

  • Phyllis was a great host and her place was perfect! She showed us the entire house and made us feel like home. Also, she always made herself available when we needed advice or help. Her house is very well located, clean and very pretty! The view from the lanai is stunning! The room had a separate entrance, which made us feel we were by ourselves in our own house. I would recommend Phyllis and her house to any other person wanting an excellent AirBnb experience in Oahu.

  • I stayed four days at Phyllis home on a top of the mountain so you can see Diamond Head and Honolulu down in the valley. The home was really clean and larg. Phyllis was such a marvelous person every time she was in the house and i need some tips they gave me all necessary informations. i will highly recomended her house to stay on Hawaii to make your trip to one of the best in your life.

    Thank you Phyllis !

  • Great location with a wonderful view. The trundle bed is surprisingly comfortable and Phyllis is a very laid-back but professional host. We definitely appreciated use of her kitchen and having our own fridge in the bedroom.

I have a great passion for the outdoors. On weekdays I’m a professional and it’s all about the job, but on weeknights and weekends my enthusiasm for the outdoors reigns. My free time is spent exploring our beautiful islands, and I am an avid surfer, free diver and scuba diver, and kayaker. When I’m not in the water, you can probably find me hiking in our picturesque mountains or camping with friends. Suffice it to say, I am familiar with many great spots for outdoor activities and am happy to share them with you! I’m lucky to work in an industry for which I have a great passion, and am blessed to be able to travel as part of my job. Much of my traveling is done between our Hawaiian islands, but I’ve also traveled to New Zealand, Argentina, and Italy to visit our suppliers. Someday soon I hope to visit France and Spain. I work out of our home, and having a home office makes it convenient for me to be able to host and accommodate our guests. And, of course, my travels have given me the understanding of what it takes to be a good host, and I look forward to helping you make your stay awesome!
