Check In
  • Jacey's apartment is comfortable, with a well-equipied kitchen, and conveniently located for walks or a bus ride to Harvard Square. Really lovely neighborhood, too.
Jacey was a thoughtful host, easy to make plans with, and highly co-operative.

  • I had a fantastic stay at Jacey house. She is really friendly and makes you feel right at home, very clean apartment and spacious as well. Her house is ideally located to get a good night rest as I did not hear any noise at all in the evening. She was very accommodative in terms of my check in time. Very easy to get to her apartment, about 12 min walk along Charles River down to Harvard campus, also two buses are about two blocks from her place and are only one stop away from Harvard train station. Highly recommend.

  • Jacey was a great host, able to accommodate us at the last minute. She was quick to respond and very helpful as well. The bed was very comfortable, and the room nice and cool on a hot Boston summer's night. I would definitely go back again!

  • The room that I was initially assigned was fine except that it was a little too hot for me as there was no A/C present. However, the host was kind enough to offer me another room with an A/C. While generally speaking, the house could use a little work in terms of small things that could make a big difference for guests (bathroom taps, locks on doors, shower plumbing, etc), the host more than made up for any shortcomings in the place by being very accommodating. I ended up having to leave a day earlier and the host refunded a day's payment without even my request for it. I consider such a person to be of the highest standards and assure you she will not let you down, and will go out of her way to make your stay a comfortable one.

    Response from Jacey:

Thanks for your comments. As my first guest here in Cambridge I appreciate your suggestions and have since installed A/C in the other bedroom and in the common space. I was just settling in when you arrived and am always looking for ideas on how to make the space comfortable for my guests.

Pitzer College
I first became a host on airbnb when I moved out to SoCal for college. I chose Pitzer so I could create my own study called Rhetoric, Consciousness, and Power. I have recently graduated and moved to Cambridge. While I have an academic head, I have an artist's spirit. I love all forms of art, namely spoken word poetry. I strive to create spaces in which people feel comfortable and confident to express themselves. In terms of living, I strive for a calm, peaceful, sanctuary-like space. I have stayed at a few places through Airbnb with my mom and really enjoyed the chance to meet people who could point us toward events or places we might like in the city. I would love to be able to do the same for people who are traveling around here. My mom raves about her experience hosting so I thought I would join too!
