Very convenient spot at a good rate in SFO. Guadalupe's place was clean and full of rich art work.
We were very happy to stay at Guadalupe's apartment. It was very clean, quiet, and close to 3 bus routes going in all directions. Guadalupe was a very pleasant and generous host, and her other room-mates as well. The neighbourhood has good restaurants very close by, and is within walking distance to El Presidio Park and Golden Gate Park. San Francisco is a beautiful city to visit, and we hope to return.

Guadalupe is a lovely host, polite, kind and gentle, great communication. The location is very nice, well served by public transportation and the neighborhood is cute.
Guadalupe's place is beautiful, exactly how it is showed in the pictures. It is comfortable and, even if we were out most of the time to visit the city, the few times we met Guadalupe she was very kind (she even offered some of her delicious cookies!).
The area is very nice but it is not close to the downtown and in general to the city attractions.. there is a bus stop just one block from the place, but it can take 45 minutes/1 hour to get to the center, especially in the evening.
The only problem we had was when we arrived, because it was at night and Guadalupe was working; we had to call her twice at work (where we could not reach her by cell phone) because we didn't know how to enter the apartment. After some ten minutes waiting in front of the door, we managed to get in. If you plan to arrive while she is working, make sure Guadalupe explains you how to get the keys before you leave for San Francisco!
I am sorry for the misunderstanding about direction how to enter the apartment, I clearly specify in my email prior to you arrival, to call me at work, I work in the Emergency Department and cell phones sometimes do not have reception, and I work with patients and some of them are very sick, and sometimes I can answer the phone right way, and your arrival was quite late at night, and the information about how to get in to the apartment is sensitive and i feel it has to be given in person or over the phone, just remember you are arriving to a private house, not a hotel..... In regards of city attractions San Francisco in general is attractive and unique city, my place is located walking distance to the ocean, Palace of Legion of Honor, the Young Museum , Golden Gate Park, Academy of Science etc, and I never mention i am close to downtown, I am sorry I did not fulfill your expectation
Guadalupe's apartment is clean, bright, and very comfortable. It is located a few steps from the #1 bus which takes your directly to Nob Hill and the downtown Financial District. It is also a few blocks from China Beach, which has a great view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Guadalupe was extremely friendly and gave excellent advice on what to see and do. She is a wonderful ambassador to the city.
This was my first Airbnb experience and it couldn't have gone better. Guadalupe is a lovely host - warm, responsive, accommodating. My flight was delayed by several hours and she found a way to make it work despite the inconvenient timing. Her place is lovely - she even left me chocolates like a real turn-down service at a hotel! The room and apartment were very clean and it's great to have a private bathroom. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, but isn't too bad given that it's a big city. The stunning views of Land's End and the coastline near her place are not to be missed. Several nice hidden gem restaurants and cafes as well.
We stayed for 6 days, we arrived late in the night but despite all Guadalupe was there to give the welcome. The room is very nice, very clean, and bright with a big bathroom. She was so confident with us and we share a lot of info about SF and the american life in SF. The house is very nice and comfortable and with some details very appreciated and interesting. It's not so near to downtown, but the public transport is very fast and the stop is very close the house, otherwise you are very close to the ocean and the neighborhood is very nice to walk until the Golden gate park and the beach. So we recommend to stay in the Guadalupe's guest room, a lovely place to stay for short or long time.
Guadalupe was an excellent host. She is charming, gracious, and so funny; made me feel welcome right away. Her home is very spacious. You get your own bedroom and bathroom , everything was clean, fresh, and so comfortable...very hospitable, I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here...the only downsides were if you are renting a car and looking for parking, it's not always available close, also pay close attention to the street signs re: parking, and the noise of the boats horns in the bay at night can be heard when there's a lot of fog...but I'm assuming that would be the case anywhere staying in San Fran. Overall splendid experience.
