my parents and I stayed here and it was a great experience. very close to the metro line, one stop away from the Vatican or around a 15 minute walk to St. Peter's Square. the neighborhood was safe and a slice of local life. there are restaurants, shops, and markets all within close reach. though it's across the street from a hospital/clinic, noise was not a problem. it's a quiet area, if you're looking to live within walking distance from all the local attractions or nightlife, I would suggest looking for a place near or across the river. but it'll come with a price tag.
the photos are accurate of the accommodations but keep in mind that the unit is two levels. living amenities are upstairs (living room, kitchen, full bath, laundry) and bedrooms are downstairs. downstairs also includes a full bathroom. thus the bedrooms are essentially in the "basement" but is well furnished/decorated with windows in each.
Simone was very accommodating and prompt for check in. if i come through Rome again and looking for a quiet place, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here. it made for a nice roman holiday.
We we're very pleased with our stay in Rome at Simone's appartment. Simone greeted us the night we arrived in Rome and was very friendly. The appartment was very clean and spacious for a party of three (My father and Husband). The location is also absolutely perfect: its about a 5 minute walk to the Vatican! Overall, I don't think we could have asked for a better appartment for our stay of 3 nights in the heart of Rome. What you see in the pictures in exactly what you get!
