The location of this apartment is amazing! Kate was very easy to communicate with throughout the entire trip process from booking to checking out. The apartment easily accommodated 4 guests and had a bright atmosphere. The bars across the street are loud and stay open well into the night, but with a window unit, noise was easily drowned out. The location could not have been more perfect and made it easy to enjoy Greenport!
Great stay, apt was very nice and had everything we needed, excellent location right in the heart of it , near ferry to shelter island, Kathleen very quick to respond to any queries. Would defiantly recommend to friends.
Kathleen's home was lovely! It was the perfect place for a long weekend. It is literally in the heart of Greenport, within walking distance to great restaurants and bars. The beach is a bit hard to get to, so rent bikes or get a taxi if you've no car. I have no complaints whatsoever- clean, lovely space with a kitchen perfect for cooking. Thanks Kathleen!
Kate, was very easy to communicate with leading up to our stay.
She left Post-its around the apt letting us know the best restaurants, where trash goes, how to get to the beach...etc. The apt was/is exactly as the pictures/description say.
We were in town for a wedding and many of the events were happening right there in Greenport which made Kate's place perfect, we were in the middle of it all.
Only negative, there are two bars across the street so there is noise at night. But we flipped on the A/C and drowned it out.
We'd stay again, for sure.
The apartment was perfect. Just as pictured, nicely decorated, and in a great location in the heart of the town. Only a few blocks from the train station and jitney stop. Nice beach in town and others nearby. Rented bikes and got to see more around the area, including a great vineyard. Kate was easy to coordinate with, flexible with our timing, and the apartment was spotless when we arrived. Will definitely return for our next North Fork adventure!
Kathleen made it very easy for us to check in at our leisure. The apartment was a short walk from the train station and right in the heart of Greenport. Kathleen left us some cute sticky notes with info about the apartment and tips on where to eat nearby. I also didn't realize the apartment has its own adorable roof deck with views of the water. Nice bonus!
The way the two sleeping areas are set up worked okay for me because I was staying with family, but might be a bit more challenging if guests need more privacy.
Kathleen was very accessible both in the weeks leading up to our stay and during our time in the house, answering our questions and providing helpful advice for making the most of Greenport.
The location is very convenient for both train and Jitney travel, although being in the center of things meant it could also be noisy at night.
The apartment was clean, cheerful, and had plenty of space for two. The roof deck is a great space — just be prepared to have your nights soundtracked by rock music from nearby restaurants.
All in all, a very nice apartment. Perfect for a weekend getaway.
