Kathleen's place was very convenient, clean, and cute. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet her but she left post its with places to go. Perfect place to go without having to drive and close to everything.

Kathleen was super. She is very responsive. Sh eleft little post -it notes all over with places to go and things to do. The apartment was clean and exactly as described. Really adorable. The front bedroom faces Front street and is directly across the street from the Whiskey Wind-- a local bar/ hangout. The Friskey Oyster, is right downstairs on the same side. Ice cream is a block away, the Italian Ice place is ten steps from door opening. Couldn't ask for a more central location to the best Greenport has to offer. Only drawback-- no fault of Kathleens-- and could be a plus for some-- is the Whiskey Wind plays loud music late at night (after Midnight) and has some bar folks being kind of loud outside while smoking or leaving late night. I had to keep the windows closed and air conditioner on to fall asleep. It was also Labor Day weekend and more crowded than usual. Then again, you are in wine country and if you have enough wine...everyone sleeps well. There are also ear plugs. Otherwise, this would have 4.5 stars. To bid the time while getting ready there is a TV in the front bedroom-- but really-- do you need it? Helped watching weather channel though for potential hurricane updates. The back bedroom is separated by a curtain between the bed and living room. Both beds were queen and very comfy. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom and the apartment gets a ton of natural light. The kitchen is a gallery kitchen and plenty of space in a full size fridge. There's a small stove and microwave if eating out at the amazing restaurnats right next door aren't your thing. You can step out onto the balcony from the back bedroom where there is a table, chairs, umbrella and grill. We didn't grill, but was fun to sit outside and take in Greenport Harbor looking toward Claudios. Only drawback is that the roof is lined with black flooring which got all over our shoes, so be sure to not sit or rub up against anything if you are wearing white. Was a great way to unwind at the end of the day or watch the sunrise. Again-- no fault of Kathleen's just the way the way is constructed. Would have added an extra .5 star. Loved this centrally located, adorable apartment and would love to come back. This time with some extra wine, denim shorts and a potential to join the downstairs bar folk at night for a drink or two! If you can't beat 'em-- join 'em!

We thoroughly enjoyed our girls trip to the North Fork at this lovely aparment in Greenport. The location was unbeatable, right in the heart of this adorable town with a roof terrace overlooking the harbour which is a stones throw away. The apartment was the perfect size for a group of 4 friends and felt very clean and fresh. The pictures don't capture how spacious the place is and the lovely view and location. Kathleen was a great host, we never met but she was always reachable by text and always responded quickly. She left very useful post it notes with information about restaurants and beaches etc. in the flat which was much appreciated! I would definitely reccommend this listing to others.

I have no complaints. The apartment was clean and comfortable and beautifully situated since it was close to the Mitchels Marina where both my sons had their boats. The street was very quiet and it was very pleasant to be right in town.

We absolutely loved Kate's place! It was perfect for a relaxing girls weekend, and Kate was very accommodating to our group. I would highly recommend this place to others, given how clean and amazing it was (it has a patio!) and how conveniently it is located in the center of the main town. Kate was always reachable, which I appreciated!

Listing description is accurate and the location can't be beat. Right in the middle of town surrounded by great restaurants (Frisky Oyster is right next door), grocery shopping (IGA), coffee shops (Aldo's), and shopping! It was a great base for our last minute weekend trip to North Fork. Ferry to Shelter Island is within a few minutes walk, LIRR is right there. The size of the apartment is perfect for a couple, just be aware that the second bed is in an open area. There's an electric barbecue on the deck, the deck overlooks the pier and really nice to just sit outside and eat. Also a fresh bag of coffee in the kitchen. We went during a heat wave and the window (in main bedroom) was sufficient. Temperature in the apartment was comfortable even though it was over 90 degrees outside. Ceiling fans in every room and a portable fan in the living room.

Kate was a perfect host. She responded to me immediately, whether it was about her address or information about surrounding places to visit. The place was exactly as pictured and the location was Perfectly centered in town. If we didn't have a car, we wouldn't have needed one. We had access to everything. As Kate mentioned herself, the place is small, but perfect for a couple or a family or two couples who are very comfortable with each other. We would definitely stay at Kates apartment again.
