Betty's place was wonderful! Quiet, cute, and so close to everything that we were able to walk everywhere we went. We loved it!
If your going to Santa Fe, be sure to include this in your list of places to stay. The host--Betty--is very gracious and accommodating.
The room is as advertised and since we had a late snow shower (in late April) the Kiva fireplace was wonderful.
There are many good things to say about this place but among them is the easy/short walking distance to both the Plaza, Railyard and even Canyon Road. All within 10 minutes.
Definitely will go back
Betty was an excellent host who greeted us warmly and respected our privacy during our visit. The studio was bright and cheerful and well-maintained, and the guest's private courtyard garden had been recently paved and landscaped.
Betty was very welcoming. She greeted us with delicious banana bread. The space was great. It's a short walk to all the restaurants and galleries downtown. One thing to note was the heater could be kind of loud and woke us up when we were sleeping. 10/10 would stay here again.
Betty was a wonderful host who went the extra mile in so many ways! There was banana bread in the kitchenette, firewood for the cozy fireplace, great attention to detail all around her cute little apartment. It was indeed walking distance to the plaza, and the neighborhood is quiet. I would go back in a heartbeat!
Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Betty's daughter, Anna....and the most delicious banana bread baked by Betty. Our cottage was colorfully decorated and we were touched by the personal welcome sign. The latest cation is on a very quiet street and very close to the Encaustic Institute Gallery, which was on my To Do list. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
We love living here in Santa Fe and love sharing our home with travelers from all over the world because our passion is to travel to experience different cultures. We also love animals. I have two very well behaved little dogs. We are also involved in supporting animal rescue. I enjoy meeting other people and sharing my garden. I find working in the garden very rewarding. Hope you will visit me. My friends call me Carley.
