  • We had a great stay at Betty's place in Santa Fe. The space is cozy and really gives everything you could want - we especially appreciated having the option to cook (we didn't, but we could have!), make coffee in the morning and have a little fire on a colder night. The private drive and access made it easy to come and go. Betty made it clear that she was available if we needed anything but gave us privacy from the moment we arrived. We would definitely stay again if we return to Santa Fe!

  • Betty was so sweet and such a good hostess. We hit traffic leaving home and so were much later getting to the casita than expected. Betty waited up for us and was very accommodating. Her casita is adorable. It looked like a converted sun porch or possibly a garage that's been completely redone. It was attached to the main house, but we didn't hear a thing from inside. The casita is beautifully decorated, the bed is comfortable. There's a private patio outside perfect for drinking the complimentary coffee. It was an easy walk from Betty's to the Plaza. The only real drawback was that the shower was on the short side. We would definitely stay with Betty again if we are back in Santa Fe.

  • We stayed at Betty's Studio over the past weekend and it was overall a wonderful experience. The location was fantastic – within walking distance to the Plaza, the Railyard and lots of great bars and restaurants. With it being winter, we didn't get to enjoy the lovely outdoor space outside the studio, but we took advantage of the coffee maker, the stove, the refrigerator (thoughtfully stocked with yogurt and english muffins) and the TV. My only caveat is that when the heater kicked on it was a little loud, but certainly no deal breaker. Even used the shower with no difficulty - I was happy to have a comfortable place to shower after a long hike in the mountains. We would certainly stay there again if we are back in Santa Fe.

  • Santa Fe style shabby chic and ample space considering it wX a double bed- not queen. All the basics are there. Seemed about a half mile from square.

  • Overall, we had a pleasant stay with Betty.
We had no problems communicating with the host before arrival.
Betty was very nice and left juice and some yogurts in the fridge for us for our arrival.
We had a few issues with our stay, which is why I took a few stars away.

-centrally located. We had a car but were able to walk to several restaurant nearby including Tomasitas.
    - nicely decorated space, large bathroom, comfortable, yet small bed (full size), large tv for nights in
-Studio feels very private even though it shares a (locked) door with the main house

-Could have been a little cleaner. We found dust under the bed and a crumpled up receipt from the previous renter
-Concrete floors takes away from the coziness of the space
-We stayed in January and the heater was incredibly loud at night and right near the bed --- it was hard to sleep at night and we woke up several times because of it
-Bathroom shower is really short and water pressure is light. It was fine for me (I'm 5"2) but my boyfriend is 6"2 and he had to bend his head to get water from the shower
-We had trouble starting the kiva fireplace

The studio definitely has rustic, quirky charm but maybe it just wasn't for us. However, for the price and convenience it is a great option for someone who doesn't need high end accommodations.

  • We had a great stay at Betty's in Santa Fe. Her home was conveniently located within walking distance of the plaza. And a cozy place to get back to after being in the beautiful winter air. Her studio is comfortable and coffee and breakfast was waiting for us when we arrived.

  • Betty's apartment is very conveniently located at the west edge of the downtown area, within easy walking distance to downtown and several good restaurants. It really is charming with Santa Fe style courtyard and decor. Betty attends to every detail and is very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend this apartment to anybody.

  • This wonderful place is quiet, beautiful, and has everything you need for a great stay in Santa Fe. Inside and outside spaces are wonderful. Our easygoing hostess was a great pleasure. We were delighted to find that the Plaza, the Railyard, parks, and great restaurants were all within easy walking distance. We would definitely book it again!!! Thank you!!

  • Great location, lovely quiet neighborhood, within walking distance of everything downtown Santa Fe has to offer. We rented a car for the first couple of days, it enabled us to grocery shop for the week. There is no pantry, meaning the basics such as salt, pepper, sugar, dishwashing liquid, were not available. If you like to cook a couple of meals in a day, as we do, you should stock up.
We learned that it was ok to let ourselves in when we first arrived, as there was no one there to meet us. We also learned that there is indeed hot water, in the shower. The secret (?) is the left knob turns on the water, and the right (which usually controls the cold) regulates the heat.

We love living here in Santa Fe and love sharing our home with travelers from all over the world because our passion is to travel to experience different cultures. We also love animals. I have two very well behaved little dogs. We are also involved in supporting animal rescue. I enjoy meeting other people and sharing my garden. I find working in the garden very rewarding. Hope you will visit me. My friends call me Carley.
