Interaction with Guests
Not much if they don't want me to. My office is directly below so they sometimes say hi :)
Quiet, dark at night, trees blowing in the wind
Driving, Cab service in valley, Mad Bus
This is a no smoking apartment. Since we are in a rural setting, consideration needs to be taken for late night volume levels.
I decided to make a last minute booking to ski with friends at Sugarbush and quickly found Steve's Mad River Studio. It was just perfect. The studio had everything I needed for a great nights sleep before hitting the nearby slopes. It was a nice treat to have a beer waiting for me in the fridge - when I arrived.
The studio is as described and easy to locate off of Route 100. Nearby to both Mad River and Sugarbush. The kitchen was had all I needed to cook myself breakfast, make coffee and lunches for skiing. There was a Keurig and coffee pods. The bathroom had a large shower and fluffy towels. Was the bed extremely comfortable or did I just exhaust myself with 2 perfect days of skiing? Thanks Steve for making my stay so comfortable!
The studio was beautiful, Steve was a wonderful host, and the location was great. We hope to come back again!
We had a great time. Everything was clean and brand new. Super close to the mountain. Steve gave an awesome welcome present. Thanks!
Steve is a great host. He accommodated us getting in a bit after our scheduled time and left great beer in the fridge! The place was immaculately clean; great for a weekend away from the city. Would recommend.
The apartment is immaculate and cozy. Everything is brand new and has all the efficiencies you need. Great location. The host was super communicative and made the process very easy.
The greatest general store anywhere. Breakfast, newspaper, wine, sundries, lunch, and a very cool eclectic 'more store' upstairs. You have to check it out at least for a morning snack or coffee
Great golf course only 2 miles away.
Drive (or hike) up to Lincoln Gap and access the Long Trail - there are 3 nice standard hikes from here (sunset rock at 1.1 miles is a short and worthwhile view)

small market up on the mountain that is close for just about anything you might need - a little more pricey than Mehuron's in Waitsfield, but it's close
