The apartment is a 70 m2 penthouse, located very centrally in Nørrebro, Copenhagen.
With windows in the roof the place is filled with light and has a beautiful view to both sides.
The apartment has room for 4 people, 2 in the bedroom and 2 in the living room, that has a very comfortable couch designed to sleep on.
There's a spacious kitchen equipped with everything you need for cooking your meals, and the table seats up to 6 people. The dishwasher handles the dishes.
The big bathroom has heating in the floor (for cold winter mornings) and a washing machine.
The backyard has nice green spots for sunbathing, tables for eating, and small playgrounds for the kids.
There's super fast WiFi internet, cable TV, and a big collection of new and old vinyl records.
The apartment is situated in Nørrebro, just opposite of the beautiful
cemetery 'Assistens Kirkegården', which in both summer and winter is a great spot for walking under the big trees, amongst the graves of H.C. Andersen and Kierkegaard. The area is packed with nice restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and shops for everything you can think of.
You're also in 15 minutes walking distance from all the attractions in the very center of Copenhagen.
15 minutes walking to nearest metro station, and buses run from the doorsteps.
I'm looking forward to hosting you!
With four people we stayed in the apartment of Andreas and he was a very welcoming host. The apartment was very nice, well attended and we enjoyed it very much. It was wonderful that he trusted us with his wonderful collection and we really enjoyed the music.
We truly can recommend this apartment!
The Nørrebro neighborhood is a fantastic one for going out at night and roaming about during the day. The apt. was ideally located near a bus stop which we often used to take to the metro or to see the sights around Copenhagen. The buses come about every 5 or 10 minutes.
Andreas was very responsive and pleasant to work with before and during our stay! He even recommended some cool bars and a coffeeshop nearby. The apartment is in a great location, well furnished and maintained and does have a nice view as the pictures show. We generally didn't mind the 5 flights of stairs except after a very long day of sightseeing and lots of drinks. :-) Just keep that in mind.
My only complaint would be that the apt. smelled of cigarette smoke. Since I have a bit of asthma, this wasn't an ideal situation for me, but for 2 nights it was fine.
Overall, a great apartment and host! Thank you!
I stayed in Andreas' place with few of my friends and it was great all in all. The apartment was very nice and quiet and the loction was good. Andreas was really guestfriendly and flexible and gave us some good tips for our stay. I would totally recommend the place and the host!
Andreas apartment is really nice. We enjoyed our 8 nights there.
It is sunny (thanks also to the weather :)) and large enough for all our family (2 childs and 2 adults).
The disc collection was really appreciated by the whole family.
Andreas was also very friendly at our arrival and make us comfortable.
It would get a five star if there was an elevator :) The 5 or 6 floors stair is quite long after a long walking day. But our kid of 3 years managed it every evening so it is not an obstacle.
The apartment is really well deserved and not so far from city center. We walked once with the kids but usually we took the bus.
There are plenty of grocery/market around and small park just at the corner.
You can try the sushi restaurant susu just at the corner it was really correct.
It was a really great first experience in Copenhagen and we would definitely recommend it.
The flat and location were both ideal for our purpose, which was to enjoy our first visit to the city with no transport problems. Andreus had left us some basic food for our first evening, which was a nice touch. At our age (70+) we found five flights of stairs a little wearing after a day sightseeing, so we had to plan our visit so that we only had to climb the stairs once each day! This is the only reason why we have not awarded the full five stars!
It has been a number of years since my wife and I visited Copenhagen. The location of Andreas' place meet our needs. We came in late but were promptly meet by Andreas. The space is a bit of a walk up. We didn't mind but those with lots of bulky luggage might not so pleased. Inside, the apartment is light and airy. It had everything we needed for a long weekend.
For us, the location was perfect for get up and out in the morning. We walked all over. If bicycling is your thing, this is a great location to see Copenhagen.
Overall a good visit and a nice stay.
Andreas' place is truly great. It is very clean and well kept. It is on a lively street with lots of restaurants and cafes. It is very accessible by public transportation and within a short walk to town. Andreas is a great person and extremely helpful. He goes out of his way to assist his guests. It was great meeting him and staying in his place.
