I really enjoyed my stay at Liz's and Nigel's place. I stayed at blue room, which seems to be perfect for a solo traveller. And the fact that the price included a well prepared proper breakfast – superb. There might not be much happening in the village itself (which is what I was actually looking for) but the surroundings have so much to see and do you are bound to run out of time to see it all. Nigel and Liz are both very welcoming hosts and I only wish I could've stayed longer than just one night.
I had the most wonderful time at Nigel and Liz's beautiful home! Unfortunately I didn't get to meet Liz as she was in the UK, but Nigel was such a terrific host, so friendly and helpful. Pau is an amazing little village and I would highly, highly recommend staying there to anyone.
I loved my stay with Liz and Nigel so much that I stayed an extra day. They are both very friendly hosts, not only making me feel welcome but including me in village life. Liz is a great cook and I awoke one morning to fresh baked bread for breakfast. The room is charming, clean and has everything you'd need. I never would have come to Pau, which is a very small village, if not for this accommodation and I'm very glad I got to see this corner of Catalonia. Pau was perfectly located to take in both Figueres and the beaches without staying at either.
