We are located in Myakka City, FL, which is a short drive to Siesta Key and Lido Beach and Sarasota! Enjoy a peaceful stay in our newly built, unique, air-conditioned cracker cabin. The cabin sleeps 4 guests and is located in the middle of our 1,100 acre working cattle ranch. Step outside and you are right on the Myakka River and can sit by the fire-pit at night and enjoy the sounds of nature.

While your visiting, enjoy a kayak down the Myakka River.

The space
The "River" cabin is a one room building with 225 sq ft of living space. It contains a king bed on the main floor and two twin beds above in a small loft. Outside the cabin there is a small balcony with two chairs for viewing the river and wildlife.

A separate building about 100 yards away from the cabin is where the kitchen and bathrooms are located. The "Cantina" has two bathrooms, two outdoor showers and an air-conditioned kitchen that includes a refrigerator, sink, coffee machine, green egg and ice machine. Wifi is available but; it is somewhat limited on its download/upload speeds.

All linens, towels, soap, charcoal, and bug spray are available in the cabin. Firewood is usually available at the firepit, unless it has recently rained. Then you may want to bring some dry wood.

Two kayaks are available down by the river. If they are not there please message me and I will either bring you additional kayaks or let you know where they may have moved.

We are 16 miles from grocery stores and several restaurants and 20 miles from the UTC Mall, Target, Sam's and more.

Entertainment
If you're looking for nature, we are across the street from the north entrance to Myakka State Park (Check their website for gate open times and days of the week). You can kayak from the cabin to the state park. We are also a short drive from Siesta Key Beach and many downtown Sarasota attractions including Mote Marine, Selby Gardens or Ringling Museum.

We are located 20 miles east of Siesta Key and just 15 miles from Sarasota. The air conditioned, cabins are located in the middle of an 1,100 acre working cattle ranch. Very private and unique experience. We are located close to the North entrance to the Myakka State Park, where you can walk trails or visit the restaurant. Please check park website for gate closings.
