The Red House Fredericton - NEW DOWNTOWN sun-filled loft with bonus 2-tier DECK situated at back wing of restored historic home/B&B. From the light-filled kitchen/living area to the tranquil sleeping area to the beautiful bathroom retreat, this loft studio is IMMACULATE, spacious, ultra comfortable. Free on-site parking, private keyless entry, deluxe kitchenette, HVAC, WiFi, Netflix, dining/workspace, plush seating, premium bedding&linens, restored antiques, deck seating. A GEM!

The space
Part of a property built in 1859 and lovingly restored in 2021.
Park for free onsite and take the dedicated exterior stairs one flight to your second (top) floor two-level sundeck and keyless entry door.
You first step into the restored sunporch full of natural light and notice high ceilings and a sightline from front to back. The sleek kitchenette is efficient and pleasant with fridge/freezer, convection toaster oven, microwave, Keurig, kettle, portable smooth-top induction cooktop, soft close drawers and open shelving stocked with food prep equipment, utensils, dishes and glassware, with ample space for your own grocery items. A comfortable seating area and TV complete this portion of the studio.
Then, step up to the more intimate sleeping area with luxurious bedding, mahogany wardrobe and wing chair by the window, perfect for curling up with a book.
The adjacent ensuite bathroom with beautiful finishes and rainhead shower offers a luxurious and invigorating start to your day. The sundeck is a lovely place to unwind in the evening before bed.
We are dog/cat friendly upon request PRIOR to booking. Infant babies are welcome. The space is not suitable for crawling babies or young children or anyone with mobility concerns.

Prime downtown highly walkable location steps to everything from the farmers market, grocery and liquor store, Hospice House, galleries and museums, provincial legislature and government offices, to shops, restaurants, breweries and entertainment venues. Leave your car in the yard and walk everywhere or take the bus outside our door to destinations 'up the hill''. Take a pleasant evening stroll past historical homes and cross the walking bridge over the St. John River for a refreshment at Picaroons. Bike, kayak and canoe rentals are a short walk away for adventure on the trails or St. John River. Take a short drive to spend the day tubing down the Nashwaak or visiting Kings Landing Historical Settlement. Day-trips to St. Andrews, Deer Island, Campobello and the Fundy Parkway are easy from here. Your suite will welcome you back at the end of each day for a nightcap on your deck under the stars before retiring to the bliss of your bed.
