Great location in a nice neighborhood right across the river in Union City.
it was a clean and nice place to stay
I had a good visit of one night, it was a great location to get to from Penn Station, walked to the Port Authority Terminal and took a bus that allowed me to also see the neighbourhood. If I had more time in the NYC area I would have liked to explore the neighbourhood.
My stay was restful and I was able to get to the train in the morning with no trouble at all.
Gaby is a great host! She is kind and super responsive to any of her guests needs or questions. This room is great and affordable. It's very easy to get to and from manhattan on the buses. I am going to stay here again next time Ian in NYC.
I have stayed here a few times.. I really like it
Gaby and her family were pretty friendly. The room was comfortable. Last but not the least, the location is great!
Close enough to the city to be convenient, but far enough away to be quiet. Very easy to get in to Manhattan by bus to the port authority where you can get anywhere with the subway. Warm and comfortable in the house while below freezing outside. Gaby is extremely friendly and was helpful with information about the local area. Highly recommended. Thanks.
The apartment was easy to find and checking in and out were a breeze. It was easy to get into Manhattan as well. i had to go to school on the weekdays and though the bus was often packed, i was always able to get on and was never caught in traffic for long. it's also recommended that you get the weekly passes rather than doing ala carte which is more expensive. if there's 2 of you, you can share the 10 tickets between yourselves easily.
i also appreciate the cleaner coming in everyday to take the trash out and cleaning the apartment. they don't go into your room so it's only the common areas they work on.
i would certainly stay there again if needed :)
