It was a good room in a great location. We had an early bus at 3 30 am to Girona and the bus stop was very close by and that helped a lot.
Overall a very good experience.
Everything was clean and in order. I only saw Joel twice but everything was fine and understood. The apartment was right and the location super for Sagrada Familia
The location of the apartment is right next to the landmark Sagrada Familia; if you take the lift from the station, you will ascend to a view of the iconic basilica.
The apartment is small but fits four rooms, one clean bathroom with a washer, a kitchen and a living area. Then wall fan does not work very well, so during the hottest summer, that might be a problem. The ventilation throughout the building is also poor, so can't expect too much wind coming from the windows. It is not advisable to open the panels for air because the road beside is pretty noisy all day long and dusty.
Overall, there are many good food around, cafes, restaurants; one of which you have to try "La Paradreta" for fresh seafood and good affordable beer. It is tucked inside the right lane when you see the Iberico ham shop. Queues start at 8pm and the place is packed till it closes.
Joel does not speak much English, so it would be good if you picked up some Spanish and if you are okay with a lot of rules and regulations then this is the apartment for you. There are a lot of to do and not to do written on the walls with marker pen.
Overall experience was alright for the price.
During the summer, this place is way too hot. There is a fan but it does not help at all. The actual place is conveniently located and if you don't mind the heat, this place will be fine. The room is small but if you plan on being out for the day, it will be fine.
