This place is set in a surreal area of the world - one of the most beautiful places around. It is clear that the building was designed to maximize the view from every window. The view from the room was picturesque! Topped off with lovely, kind staff. I will be back, over and over again!

Really stunning location and views and a very comfy bed but a bit expensive for what it is. Corridors are noisy as there's no carpet so you can hear everything. Staff are friendly and welcoming. If you're just looking for a b&b without the activities, the nearest hotel is a much nicer standard, better food and better value. It would suit a group away very nicely though.

Great location, warm spacious rooms, and an amazing view! It can get noisy when there's a children's event there, but they'll forewarn you if that's the case.

Spectacular views across the fjord, the room was big and the beds were very comfortable. There was always a staff member available if needed. I would definitely visit again, maybe in a quieter time as there was a children's summer camp on when I visited (which I was forewarned about).

The views is fantastic. All the bedrooms, common area, bar,... of the building are front of the Fjord ! One part of the building is dedicated to families, so it's very quiet. The common areas was available to read, to play with our children... It's ideally placed to walk in the Connemara mountains, near Letterfrack. They try to limit their ecologic impact with waste separation, green roof, wind turbine,... We highly recommend Shane' structure. Thanks for all !

The view is one of the prettiest I've seen in Ireland. Connemara is a beautiful place worth visiting. Everyone in the B&B really tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible and they were very nice and polite.

We had overall a good experience. However when booking with AirBnB you expect to have a human contact, discussion with your host, moment together during breakfast... It was not the case, it is more like an hôtel.

I work here in Killary where my family set up 34 years ago after happening upon this stunning location. In Killary you might meet me or one of my colleagues we are all excited to see you come through the doors and hope you have and amazing time here.

My time here in Connemara, and indeed yours should also, consists of spending time in the outdoors from mountains to the sea it is a great playground to explore.
