From wiki: (North Beach is a neighborhood in the northeast of San Francisco adjacent to Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf and Russian Hill. The neighborhood is San Francisco's Little Italy, and has historically been home to a large Italian American population. It is still home to many Italian restaurants today, though many other ethnic groups currently live in the neighborhood. It was also the historic center of the beatnik subculture. Today, North Beach is one of San Francisco's main red light and nightlife districts as well as a residential neighborhood populated by a mix of young urban professionals, families and Chinese immigrants connected to the adjacent Chinatown.)
Transportation is very easy, several Muni lines and the famous Cable Car are just steeps away.
A 10 minutes bike ride will take you to Downtown or the Golden Gate Bridge.

There is no private parking in this building, only street parking.
San Francisco has one of highest real state prices in the country (or world) which makes private parkings a luxury that not too many residents enjoy.
If you are bringing a car into the city (not recommended unless you are doing road trips outside) please plan ahead and be aware that traffic, driving directions and parking in the city might be a hustle, specially if you are not familiar with local traffic and parking rules.
You can leave your car parked in private garages around the building, prices range from $8/night to $20/night depending on the day of the week.
You can also park free in the residential streets but please read the times and cleaning days restrictions to avoid citations.
Finding a spot in this area might be hard due to its popularity so plan ahead if your time is limited
~~TAP WATER IN SAN FRANCISCO~~
The city enjoys one of the most pure tap waters in the county. It comes from pristine reservoirs in Yosemite National Park and it has been proven cleaner than many plastic bottled water you find in stores.
We encourage visitors to enjoy water straight from our taps and avoid buying bottled water, this will help keeping the city and state landfills clean.
