A wonderful place to stay in SF! Johannes is a perfect host. He made us feel very welcome and gave us many tips about getting around the city. It's a easy BART ride from SF airport and very easy to get downtown on the BART plus free parking on the street in front. The room was large and comfortable with a beautiful view. The kitchen was well equipped and the was a lovely dining area on the patio outside. The wifi connection is very fast and a nice large flat screen TV with full cable is available in the sitting room.
We would stay here again on our next trip to SF without a second thought. The Glen Park neighborhood is very pleasant and quiet with several restaurants and a very nice grocery store.
Thank you for helping us enjoy our stay at your place and in San Franciso!
We loved our stay in Johannes beautiful house! Everything is so clean and the gardens are gorgeous. He is the best host we've ever had, kind, friendly and very helpful. If you want to have a true San Francisco experience you should definately stay here, we recommend it!
Johaness' home is warm, cozy, colorful and absolutely stunning! As soon as you walk in, he makes you feel comfortable and right at home. The house had everything we needed and more! His knowledge of the city is outstanding and he always makes sure you get to where you want to go. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at his place and highly recommend it to anybody visiting the city. The location is very central to all public transportation and is very easy to come and go. Thank you Johaness for making our first Airbnb experience a very memorable one!
If you go to San Francisco and are looking for a place to stay to have an incredible experience, stay at Johannes’ ! My sister and I stayed 8 nights and had a blast. He’s the host we all want to find. He was very helpful from the very first moment: when we met, he helped us to park since we’re not used to SF streets and park the car in front of the garage. He always made sure we had something to do in SF, gave us a lot of precious informations (SF maps, activities for the day just printed for us, restaurants’ menu in the neighborhood, buses and subway and even more…) he gave us delicious breakfast, showed us the neighborhood and the subway… I think it is enough to tell how wonderful he is… always so kind and patient with us. The place is awesome, you’ll feel like a real San Franciscain. Everything is VERY clean, spacious, you have privacy, we loved the bathroom, we slept well every night, you can use the kitchen... We definitely would stay there again when we are in San Francisco and tell everyone we know to stay at his place.
My friend and I visited San Francisco for a January break, and we stayed with Johannes. We came having done very little research, but Johannes had excellent suggestions for walks and visits. Not only is Johannes a warm, welcoming and unintrusive host, he is also incredibly knowledgeable on all things San Francisco. His home is beautiful, and he was generous with his time and his home.
Johannes is an awesome host! He cooks healthy and delicious breakfast, walks around the city with you, and introduces you some nice secret routes to enjoy. He will show you how an vacation and life should be. My girl friend and I are returned guests and we will absolutely stay with him every time we visit SF.
Jim and I had a delightful two-night stay in Johannes' wonderful painted house in a quiet residential neighborhood convenient to public transport. Tastefully decorated, full of color and light, spotless and hospitable, we could not have been more comfortable. A spacious, light bedroom with a great bed. A large, elegant bath. Johannes welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home, joined us in engaging conversations, then gave us all the privacy we could desire, including full use of the beautifully equipped kitchen and access to the wonderful garden where we enjoyed our coffee in the sun even on a January day. All in all, a wonderful airbnb experience. Thank you, Johannes!
Johannes, the man..!
A beautiful space in a beautiful home with a beautiful person as a host.
A perfect airbnb experience. Thank you so much!!! Rafi & Marta
Johannes is an amazing person! Very respectful and courteous! The house is warm with a great location! Under my perspective, I believe Airbnb is more than rent a place to stay. It is about sharing and have a great time meeting new people when you are traveling and this guy is someone that I would like to meet again and have a great cup of tea at his beautiful garden! See you next time I visit San Francisco, Johannes!
Johannes is such a kind and generous host. He loves his city and his passion for it shows when he speaks about it. I really appreciated this and I felt very lucky to have the opportunity to stay at his home.
As first time visitors to San Francisco, he sat down with us to tell us where the top attractions were, why he recommended them and how to get there via car or public transit. We also felt very comfortable asking him questions and seeking out suggestions from him. He made us feel very at home while staying with him.
His home and private area where visitors stayed was fantastic and it was very clean. We also really liked the cereal, fruit, muffins and coffee/tea he provided us for breakfast.
