Highlights: Scenic views along the Lower Mountain Fork River, some elevation, well-loved by families and most visitors. Highest-rated trail in the park.

2. Cedar Bluff Nature Trail (Best for Beginners & Families) Distance: 0.9 miles (loop)
Difficulty: Easy to Moderate
Time: 30–45 minutes
Highlights: Beautiful river views, low elevation, close to Dogwood Campground and kayak rentals. Great short hike with a nice overlook.

3. Skyline Trail (Best for Experienced Hikers) Distance: 8.6–9.5 miles
Difficulty: Hard / Difficult
Time: 4.5–6 hours
Highlights: Steep climbs, ridge-top views, waterfalls, and multiple creek crossings. One of the most rewarding (and challenging) hikes in the park.

4. Lookout Mountain Trail Distance: 1.9 miles (loop)
Difficulty: Moderate
Time: 1–1.5 hours
Highlights: Forested path with elevation changes and nice vistas.

5. Deer Crossing Trail Distance: ~3.9 miles
