Tranquility and relaxation in an original thatched cottage surrounded by pastures and meadows. Large open living room, kitchen and dining area with open fireplace. 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 1 with a sauna and a spa tub. 10 minutes by car from the sea.
A place to relax
Far from the bustle of the city, lies the thatched cottage ‚Poppenbuell‘ in a secluded location surrounded by meadows and fields on the Eiderstedt peninsula and is only a 10 minutes’ drive from the North Sea. The only neighbors are farmers in about 200 m distance. The location thus provides unobstructed views of the horizon and the nature.
The thatched roof house itself is over 100 years old and is a listed building. Therefore the facade was preserved as it was then. Inside, the former barn was transformed into an open living space with an integrated modern kitchen and a large fireplace in the center of the room.
Recharge in the Spa
The spa area with integrated floor heating is equipped with a traditional sauna, adjacent coldwater showers and two relaxation chairs. Essential oils to produce a sauna infusion are available. In winter, the tough ones can open the adjoining door and cool off after the sauna with snow.
Another way to switch off is provided by the Whirlpool. Whoever feels like working out before relaxing can use the available fitness equipment.
Space for the whole family with and without dog
Whether with one or two families, alone, as a couple or with a large group of friends, everyone is welcome in our beautiful house. Children find plenty of space on the extensive grounds to let off steam while the adults can make themselves comfortable on the sheltered terrace.
Dogs and Co. are welcome inside and outside the home and are in good company of the neighboring dogs.
From Dec 22, 2017 - Jan 06, 2018 the minimum stay is 7 nights.
