A-Frame modern home located on hundreds of acres of protected wetlands privately accessed via the 250’ boardwalk from the house. Private dock on the Withlacoochee River backwaters access Rainbow River and Lake Rousseau from house by boat. Community boat ramp 3 doors down. 2 bedrooms 1.5 baths each has it’s own walk out deck. Hot tub on lower deck. No pets. Leave no trace!

NO PETS AT THIS HOME. PET ALLERGIES AND THE HOME IS IN THE WETLANDS WITH WILDLIFE LIKE ALLIGATORS NOT CONDUCIVE FOR DOMESTIC ANIMALS. ALSO THE SPIRAL STAIRCASE TO BEDROOMS IS NOT USEABLE FOR ANIMALS. $150 fee charged per pet if rule violated. Please respect our house rules.

This beautiful cabin located on hundreds of acres of protected wetlands has well water with a softener system. There is wildlife outside please do not book our property if you don’t like nature or well water. It is only five minutes outside of historic downtown Dunnellon. You will love the home and property if you like semi-rustic experiences. All the modern comforts are provided.

It’s 14 minutes to Rainbow Springs State Park, 23 minutes to Yankee town, and 45 minutes to Fort Island Gulf Beach.

Base rate price includes up to 4 people. Anyone above 4 is an extra $25 per person per night. Please make sure you notify property management the accurate guest count for your reservation.

A FEW VERY IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE ABOUT THE PROPERTY:
*Parking is accessed on our deep driveway. Do not park off the driveway it gets real swampy when it rains and can get stuck. Also don’t park on the septic mound next to the house.
*PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT FEED WILDLIFE ESPECIALLY ALLIGATORS. If you do they lose their natural barrier with humans and will attack children and pets, etc, and will have to be killed.
*This home is located next to wildlife habitat PLEASE KEEP CHILDREN WITH YOU AT ALL TIMES BEWARE OF ALLIGATORS AND SNAKES.
*PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT TRASH OUR WETLANDS AND DOCK AND WITHLACOOCHEE WATERWAYS. We only can offer our special property out to the public if guests respect the amazing access granted at this property via the boardwalk. Only put cigarette butts in the red cans do not flick them into the wetlands or elsewhere. Only put fishing line in the designated tubes on the dock or in the house cans.
*Do not run on the dock and boardwalk it is slippery when wet and also may have loose boards or nails/screws. We do not want guests getting hurt on the decks, boardwalk, and dock Please wear shoes and watch your step and use a flashlight at night.
*When using the 2-person hot tub please keep the hot tub covered. Do not walk on the hot tub cover. If the hot tub is left uncovered when not in use a $50 added fee for utilities will be charged.
*Please enjoy the provided kayaks and canoe. Only use them off the dock and do not take off property. Please empty them of water when done and put paddles away and store the vessels as found or we have to charge $50 hassle fee.
