Combining rustic luxury, understated elegance and modern aesthetics, the Brothers North is your ideal getaway for comfortable solitude on the Upper Peninsula. Cozy up in our modern cabin, complete with your own private 600’ frontage on Lake Michigan. The Brothers North property is situated on seven acres of waterfront in the U.P. wilderness. Get back to nature while enjoying modern comforts with rustic flair, the atmosphere of complete solitude, and the ambiance of your own private residence.

The space
Find a light-filled wilderness escape at this rustic modern vacation rental, a beautiful Upper Peninsula cabin with a relaxing deck overlooking Lake Michigan with access to private shoreline, and a wondrous location for enjoying the local trails and tranquil landscapes.

This tidy, story and a half home is nestled among the evergreens, situated in the middle of the towns of Escanaba and Manistique. Marvel at the views of Lake Michigan from the front windows on a clear day, stroll the 600 feet of private rocky shore and explore the bay by kayak or paddle board, or spend your afternoons hiking the Ninga Aki Pathway and wandering the shores of Fayette State Park.

Whether you're seeking a romantic escape or a bit of solitude, you'll find a welcoming home in the cozy living space. Begin each morning with a cup of coffee from the deck and prepare breakfast in the open kitchen, curl up and read a good book or browse the internet with free WiFi cozied by the fire and test your skills at fishing from the shore.

Sit down for lunch at The Dock, 8 miles west, and spend a quiet afternoon at home playing board games, reading on the deck, or watching movies on the flat screen TV. Come dinnertime, you can light the gas or charcoal grill for an al fresco meal, head out to catch a sunset on your private bay and end the evening with a campfire on the water's edge.

Ever since we were caretakers of a rustic, 900 square-foot cabin nestled near the Teton mountains, it has been our dream to own a remote property on Lake Michigan to share with our two young sons. In our minds, The Brothers North is the ideal getaway for comfortable solitude on the Upper Peninsula. We love every moment spent here, away from the rest of the world and we hope you will too! We also own the local outdoor shop in Escababa - Mr. Bike and Ski. We have a lot of fun and believe we are all simply better humans when we take the time to be outside. We love meeting new people from around the world and we look forward to connecting with you as hosts and travelers. We will do our best to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
