About This Listing
I'm a working class and a typical Roman who lives in a bright and cozy apartment. You will have access to a full kitchen with appliances; you will have access to a washing machine (just ask us how to use it first); The apartment building is quiet and family oriented. There is an elevator to reach the apt.
We live in a nice neighborhood away from the fuss but well connected to touristic areas. That will give you an idea how Italians live in the capital. Across from the building there is a supermarket and several convenience stores. There are buses to downtown and they also connect in 2 stops with a metro station (Jonio, you can reach on foot too). It is a 30 minutes bus ride to the center and a km away to the metro station (you can use the same ticket for both within 100 minutes).
WIFI is available at home and I'll provide you for free an Italian cellphone for communications during your stay, and a SIM Data card for your tablet to navigate in internet during your getting around.
There is a balcony where you can see the main street from and have your cigaret there (no smoking allowed inside). I speak English and German (besides Italian of course).
From the Fiumicino airport it will take you about one hour and half to get here.
From Ciampino airport it will take about an hour and half depending on the traffic.
I might be able to pick you up.
WARNING: City tax has been increased. I ask separately here, so consider it's 3,5 euros per person per night.
Interaction with Guests
Usually I like to share the experience of visiting Rome with my guests if they're this mood, anyway you'll never feel alone.
Don't lose the key: I will charge you 250 euros in case because I have to change everything. Even if it's stolen. By the way, don't hang out with your passport, leave it at home. If you need a copy I can do it. In case, I suggest you to travel with keys and passport never in a bag, but someway under your clothes so nobody can steal them withouth sexual aggression ;). If you get lost you can SMS me (preferably) or call. Respect the neighbors and be as quiet as possible especially in between 10pm and 8am. For washing machine and other devices ask me before using them please. If something gets damaged by you please let me know and we will find the best solution.
City tax: 3,5 euros per night and per person. You pay separately to me, I give you receipt with official print. Children under 10yo don't pay. After the 10th day don't pay.

Beautiful princess happy every day...highly recommend！！！
The host was very knowledgeable about the area, particularly the parks. The apartment was fine, but not as close to the center as I would have liked. The first day we were there there was a public transportation strike, so getting into the center was a huge problem. The host was eccentric and talkative, so if you are looking for a more private and secluded space that could be a problem.
We had a very nice stay with Stefano. He was extremely helpful and always willing to help and invited us into his home with open arms. Although the place was a bit far from the center and all the sights, it was in a nice neighborhood. I would recommend staying with this host and would definitely go back again.
Stefano's apartment was great. The house was clean, the room was comfortable and there's a kitchen where you're free to make food for yourself at anytime. While we were there, he baked some things for us, and they were delicious! We had a fantastic time in Rome, and it was really convenient having the bus station across the street, because it takes you straight to the city center and it's cheap. I would definitely stay again, because Stefano was an incredibly kind and welcoming host.
