Interaction with Guests
1st: To assure well sealing the garbage bags and carrying them from the flat to the room located outside the building.

Okay where do I start.
Rania was more than helpful and patient with my questions.
she picked us up at 10 am sharp in front of San Stefano (famous mall) and gave us a ride to the apartment all the way to the other side of the city.
gave us advice about what to visit around there. also showed us the closest shops and Public transportation(walk able distance)
we had a personal problem there that has nothing to do with the apartment(one of the locals) but we didn`t let this ruin our vacation
Also the Apartment is well lit, clean, and cozy.
The sheets for all beds were clean
bathroom had clean towels
working fridge, iron, and a washing machine.
I would recommend this place for a friend.
Thank you Rania
Rania is an amazing host with the best disposition; however the place is to far from the main city and to all entertainment options.
Rania was very helpful, friendly and welcoming. The flat is spacious and comfortable. It's near the eastern end of Alexandria (the opposite side to Downtown) and near two large parks with hotels, beaches and cafes- which is really great if you're looking for somewhere quiet and relaxing.
It is quite a long way to Downtown Alexandria, but there is a train that stops very close to the apartment and goes straight to the main train station. The train does have all of it's doors open, which seems dangerous, but it's totally fine and lots of Alexandrians use it. It only costs 1 Egyptian pound (the conductor comes round to collect it) and takes between 1/2 hr and 1 hr, depending on how busy and how quick it arrives at the station.
The train also stops close to the nearest shopping area- just 3 stops down the line, where there are supermarkets and great street food stalls and an internet cafe. The entrance to one of the parks is close to the same stop.
Alexandria is a lively and friendly, and awake pretty much 24hrs, and it's great to be by the sea.
Our host made us feel very welcome and was quite patient with us despite the fact that we had to call several times and arrived later than anticipated due to a change in transportation. The flat was spacious and comfortable.
Rania was very friendly, welcoming, and responsive. All of my interactions with her before and during the stay were positive.
There was a misunderstanding about the location of the apartment, as it was misplaced on the map provided by AirBNB. (AirBNB was great about compensating for that.) Rania did write out an accurate description of the location. Because of the misunderstanding, however, we had a pretty exhausting experience from all of the commuting in the heat.
I would not stay in this apartment again because it did not meet my needs, but I think it would be fine for those with different needs. Things to be aware of:
1. It's far from the center of town. We had to take an hour long taxi ride (about $10 each way) to get into town each day. You can take a micro bus for LE 2.5, if you're up for that.
2. There's no AC and no fans. We were there in early September and didn't sleep very well.
3. There's no hot water heater for the shower. (Okay in summer, but pretty cold the rest of the year.)
4. There were no towels, which is tough for a short-term stay.
5. The furniture and rugs are older, which means that it has a bit of a stale smell.
6. There is no WiFi, and we didn't find a place nearby where we could get access. We ended up having to carry our laptops into the city to use the internet at a cafe.
Thank you Lindsey for your review. Am sorry for the misunderstanding occurred in respect of the location causing you disturbance. As for the taxi tariff this is an exaggerated amount the average is 30EP which is less than 5$. Drivers must have abused you. I can refer this to the lack of communication we had during your stay. If you've asked me I would have surely given you my advice. And I guess I've offered you to call me 24/7 whenever needed.
As explained in my review; if you have, only, opened all windows glasses you wouldn't have suffered from heat. Windows are covered with screen to let the breeze in without insects. Anyway; and as orally advised to u that we take our tenants' suggestions into consideration. Accordingly; we have decided to buy a fan.
Lindsey dear. The water heater is in the kitchen and gas is connected all what it needed was that you turn it on!!! Again.. you could have simply asked me if u've not noticed it!
Again, Towels are considered of personal usage. And we, here in Egypt, are not used to put towels into furnished flats you can find them only in hotels. Despite; we decided to take your advice and add towels to the flat.
It is (in fact) our intention in the near future - like we did to the kitchen and bathroom - to complete renovation of the rest of the flat.
I'll repeat it again; if you have asked me..... We all now use chargeable USBs to connect to the internet. We could hv shown u where to get it from, it's so easy! We have previously applied for internet connection but, u shud hv surely noticed the cut cable beside the buffet.. someone did it.
I had a wonderful time staying in Rania's apartment. The place was clean and comfortable. It was a little hard to find at first, but Rania and her family helped me get oriented and made sure I was well settled. I really enjoyed staying there, even if it wasn't for a very long time.
Emily was such a nice person that we've got to know only throughout the way from the meeting point to the flat. She was so friendly to my niece, who accompanied us and liked her a lot, and exchanged with her her contacts.
She was very understanding when - to our surprise - the fridge's ice had melt on the kitchen's floor cause we have turned the power off a couple of days before and waited for us to manage the situation.
We really look forward to host Emily during her coming visit to Alexandria which we hope to be longer than this one.
