Bohemian social household that is the heart of the "Strange Framily". All misfits welcome. Amazing transport on doorstep can easily get to anywhere in central London you like to all the Tourist spots with ease 24 hours a day. :-)
One bright private room with comfortable double bed just on outside edge of central London zone 1.
This is a mature, artistic, bohemian, easy going and very lively social household near Waterloo with our finger on the pulse of the music and art scene here in London so plenty of recommendations on entertainment for you to enjoy.
I welcome artists and musicians to have a little jam if they feel in the mood. As a matter of fact I LOVE IT!!!!!!! I love it so much that if possible I will get you to play at one of my favourite live music venues here in London. If you fancy it that is.
There is a piano, a classical guitar, a 12 string guitar and 2 violins at home to choose from if you fancy playing a tune. A few Harmonicas and shakers too! ;-)
This is a smoking house with cats so Smokers and cat lovers welcome :-)!!!
I am also a food lover and feeder. Home cooked evening meals are a regular event in my fun and friendly home so you would be welcome to join in but if you prefer to keep to yourself I will respect that too.
There is a shower and a bath with water temperature control so you can decide what degree you want your shower or bath water to be..... nice! ;-)
Internet is unlimited wireless broadband.
Guests have access to the kitchen and bathroom at all times. Access to the lounge area between 6pm-10pm only as the lounge is closed off.
You do have a little table and some chairs in your room for breakfast teas etc etc.
Interaction with Guests
It really depends on the week and my schedule sometimes I am available to cook together or go out or chill and jam together at home but sometimes I am so busy I am barely seen. :-)
The South Bank is an eclectic area that is the cultural heart of the city and home to London's most iconic attractions, theatres, arts and design-led venues. The area is buzzing with things to see and do all year round; free events, music, film, exhibitions, dance, theatre, debates, festivals and all sorts of family fun.
Easy access to the Tate Modern, The West End, Westminster, Oxford Circus, St Paul's Cathedral, The Thames River, Borough Market, East Street Market and many many more.
24 hour grocery stores, off licenses (liquor stores), chemists (pharmacy's), health food shops, retail shops and just about every high street convenience also just on the main road.
The Burgess park next door has just been fully regenerated to the tune of £8 million pounds and includes a little lake and wide open green spaces. A great place for a picnic or jogging. It is even equipped with gym stations if you feel like a free work out..
I love the shops. Everything you need and plenty of 24 hour a day choice. Including transport and take away food.

Nice location, very nice and friendly host, two cats - simple but cozy place to stay in London if you are up for sightseeing for the most part of the day. The location is good as there are buses going right from the street to different parts of the central London. The bed was little too soft for me though. Make sure you love cats as they will be curious to meet you;)
Stayed with the wonderful Zoe and her cats for 6 nights and had a wonderful time. She made me feel very welcome and we had some inspiring chats. Would absolutely recommend Zoe to anyone. Was exceedingly convenient being a bus ride away from central London. Till next time Zoe!
I really enjoyed my stay. The place is clean and very nice and the room is great. Especially the bed rocks! Unlike some buildings in the UK this place is warm and cozy. The location too is awesome with very convenient 24h bus connections to all around the city 100meters out from the door. Just get an Oyster card for the public transportation and you're set for a London adventure.
Zoe is a lovely host and clearly wishes to make your stay as comfortable and exciting as possible. I really don't have a bad word to say about anything. Really enjoyed my stay. Highly recommended!
Zoe's flat was undoubtedly a personification of her personality. It was a forward, comfortable place that wonderfully served as my home base for my London experience. Her flat is true to the description as it is Bohemian in style. It is cluttered but that is part of the culture. If you are looking for a bourgeois, boring stay, look elsewhere. But if you want a full Multicultural London experience in a convenient location, look no further! I
thank you so much for having us ! It was really great to meet you and we have had a wonderful unforgettable time in London !
I hope we will have the chance again to meet you and have a stay at your house.

Mel and Anna xx

I am a very outgoing person with a lively social house hold that loves art and every genre of music available to man kind.
I believe in a friendly and happy environment and welcome the bohemian misfits of this beautiful and culturally diverse city.
Home cooked food is a glorious thing. I always look for new recipes and to learn new things from those around me. If you have a favourite dish from your homeland I would love to learn about it.
I am very interested in cultures from all around the world and the new things I learn from every person I meet. If you can't cook perhaps you can introduce me to something else from your home country.... like some music, or movies or art or just some customs....I look forward to learning something new from you.
