Location
Close to the famous Vondelpark, our lovely apartment is situated in "Oud-Zuid". This neighborhood is one of the upscale, young and vibrant neighborhoods of this large city. Even though many people live here, your sleep is never disrupted by the loud city life. The city center is easily reachable by bicycle (10min), tram (5min), or even walking (25 min)! Also, schiphol airport as well as the highway is easily accessible from our apartment. Anyone working in the business area of Amsterdam near the world trade center is a perfect fit for our place.
In the direct vicinity there are multiple supermarkets, hip restaurants and a wide variety of shops, ranging from a bakery to a quirky little toy store. There is even a Michelin star restaurant right around the corner!
As for transport, tram is literally 1 minute away and travels to the city center 6 times an hour. Metro station is a 5 minute walk and allows you to travel anywhere in Amsterdam and surroundings. Public parking is available, highway is a 4 minute drive (A10/A4). But, if you want to travel like the Dutch do, take the bicycle (available on request)!

  • Esmee is a great host! We felt very welcome, got quick replies and a lot of tips where to go. The apartment is cosy and near the center. I can totally recommend it!

  • Esmee's apartment is a perfect place to stay for a tourist. I definitely recommend it. It's in a nice place in a great part of town, it's next to the park and central Amsterdam is 10-15 minutes away by public transport. It's close to Schipol airport too. The place has a kitchen and a washing machine. And Esmee put an amazing effort in her DIY guest manual - it's really useful:)

  • We stayed the weekend in Esmées lovely apartment. The apartment was great, you'll find everything you need. Esmée is a very kind host, she prepared a little guide with very useful informations. The city center is easy to reach by tram or by a longer walk. We can't wait to get back to this place! :-)

  • Esmée's apartment is in a great location and it was absolutely perfect for my weekend visit to Amsterdam. The building is in a cute part of the city and really convenient to tram lines to the other neighborhoods. Her apartment is very welcoming, comfortable, and super sweet. Esmée was a wonderful host, I especially appreciated the helpful booklet she put together with tips on nearby shops and restaurants. I really enjoyed staying there!

  • I would totally recommend this comfortable flat. Esmée was a helpful and great host. The flat is perfectly located, 20 minutes by tram from the city center. The apartment is exactly how it is in the pictures. It was clean and it has everything needed for a holiday stay. We enjoyed very much our stay! I would totally stay there again

  • Esmee was a great host, providing a thorough booklet of information on the apartment and the neighborhood as well as some maps/guidebooks for use, and a vase of fresh flowers. She also responded promptly to email during my stay when I had a question about the WiFi (worked great). The apartment is in a wonderful residential neighborhood, so was able to get a real feel for what living in Amsterdam is like. Was great to bike through Vondel Park each day on the way to the canals. Also Amsterdam South (Zuid) train station and the amazing Amsterdam Forest are just a short bike ride away. Can't emphasize enough what a charming neighborhood it is is walk/bike around in and so close to Vondel Park, and quick and easy bike ride into the city center/canal areas. I miss the area already. Highly recommend, was probably the best place I stayed at in Amsterdam and the best value.

  • Esmée was helpful and quick to respond to my emails. I didn't meet her as she was away, but her sister met me to give me the keys so it was very easy and convenient. The place has everything you need and is close to the tram stop to get into town. Unfortunately it was a bit cold to try out the roof terrace, but it looked like it would be a great place to sit in the summer!

  • Very comfortable and clean flat; the owner reacted fast to every question and need, so everything fine.
We would definetly stay again there!
