Surrounded by wild nature and breathtaking scenery, this is the perfect place to disconnect from busy everyday life and experience the peace of the Arctic wilderness.

Kayak, SUP and snowshoes rentals are possible from your host.

The space
Olderfjord is located in the middle of Lofoten about 25 km from Svolvær and 40 from Leknes.

The home is about 2.5 km from Gimsøystraumen bridge on the E10.

Go hiking, fish from the shore (cod, makrell etc) or climb or ski the mountains depending on season.

Go golfing at the famous and award winning Lofoten Links, about 15 km from the house.

Shop at the stores in Svolvær, kabelvåg (20 km ) or Sydalen (6-7 km away).

Guest access
Entire house with kitchen, dinning area and living space with fire place. Bathroom and 2 bedrooms. Garden with seating towards south to the fjord and mountains.
Also direct access to the fjord for walking, fishing etc down the path in front of the house. Plenty of space and wild nature around the house.

There is TV, Wifi and a loud speaker provided.


Parking next to the house or down along the street for multiple vehicles.

Kayak, SUP and snowshoes available for renting. Daily hiking tours to the nearby mountains organized by us.

Other things to note
1. We have a private well for water supply. -Our water is coming from the mountain and it is the purest what nature can provide.
In the dry warm-season we have to be mindful of our consumption. Mainly July and August month is what effected.
2. El-car charging: We have a standard plug under the terrasse where you can plug your car in. It has a small fee.

I am an architect and nature guide living in Northern Norway, Lofoten. We are running a nature guiding family business where we offer guided mountain hikes, SUP and snowshoeing tours. Our passion is to provide authentic adventures in the wonderful Lofoten. We love sharing our knowledge on wildlife, nature, culture and how life is living here.
