Our freshly built cabin is on two acres located at the peaceful dead end of a rural road. The mountain views from the cozy living room and two bedrooms. The property features access to Johnson Creek. The Creek is located within a short walking distance from the cabin. It is accessible by going to the dead-end of the Baker Rd and following a trail.

You might see neighbors passing along the property line. We ask that you be respectful.

The space
This cabin is a departure from the common traditional type and evokes a home-away-from-home feeling. The modern bright and airy living space features high ceilings with plenty of windows, up-to-date furnishings, quality appliances, and contemporary tile and glass showers.

Other amenities include a gas fireplace, gas range, AC, hot tub, a spacious deck with fire pit and propane heaters, two bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen (with quality frying pans among other things), separate laundry room, an OLED TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Airplay and Miracast, high speed Internet (courtesy of Starlink), and a Tesla charger.

You will get a great night's rest on the Saatva and Sealy mattresses on a queen and a full over full bunk beds. Quality linens and towels are also provided.

The closest grocery store is Blanton's Market in Packwood and is an eight-minute drive. There are some places to eat and drink as well, although it might worth it to drive a bit further to White Pass Taqueria. The tacos are divine.

The closest Mount Rainier National Park entrance is Stevens Canyon one. The entrance is accessible via SR-123 and typically opens after the Memorial Day Weekend and closes for winter in mid-November.

The road by the cabin is walkable. There is also a steep hike within a walking distance - just across the US-12. There is an easy hike in Skate Creek Park you can drive to in less than 10 minutes.

If you are looking for more hikes, we advise that you to go to AllTrails web site and search for Packwood. They have great recommendations, up to date reviews and photos.

If you’re like us, even the small things, such as a good frying pan, are important. Our home features good quality items that we like to use, such as teak outdoor furniture, Zwilling knives, a gas range and a Jacuzzi hot tub. Things like these make the stay more pleasurable for everyone.
