Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
This renovated cabin from the 1800's is the perfect rustic getaway! Located just about an hour west of downtown St. Louis on a working farm, guests can enjoy the peace and tranquility of the farm or explore nearby historic towns, wineries, breweries, restaurants and other attractions.

The space
The cabin has a Queen bed in the lofted area and a day bed on the main level. There is a kitchenette (with a small refrigerator, an induction cooker and a microwave), a composting toilet, and an outdoor shower (with heated water). Air conditioning and heat are new for 2023. Outside, guests can relax by the outdoor kitchen (including a gas and a charcoal grill), explore the walking trails around the farm, or enjoy the private outdoor patio with a firepit while soaking in the beautiful stars.

Guest access
Guests will have private access to the entire cabin itself and the connected patio. Shared spaces include the pool and outdoor kitchen (grill) areas. Cabin is located a stone's throw away from the main farmhouse.

Pool and outdoor shower are seasonal!

HOUSE RULES

1. Not Recommended for Young Children: Our property is not recommended for young children.

2. No Pets: Due to the presence of livestock and farm animals, we kindly ask that guests refrain from bringing pets onto the property.

3. Respect Wildlife and Livestock: Please respect the livestock on the farm and refrain from feeding or approaching animals without permission (including livestock guardian dogs and farm cats).

4. Quiet Hours: To ensure a peaceful environment for all guests and farm animals, quiets hours are 10PM to 6AM.

5. No Smoking: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the farm for fire safety and health reasons.

6. Closed Gates: For the safety of our animals and guests, please keep all gates closed at all times.

7. Electric Fence Caution: Ge aware that electric fences are in place for containment purposes. Please do not touch or attempt to disable these fences.

8. Farm Machinery Caution: Farm machinery such as tractors and equipment may be in operation. Please maintain a safe distance and do not operate any machinery without permission and proper training.

9. Road Safety: Please drive slowly and respectfully on the gravel road leading to our property, being mindful of neighbors and other road users.

Hello! My name is Amanda and I love utilizing AirBNB as both a host and a guest. As a host, I really enjoy seeing who our farmhouse and the cabin we manage attracts. They are both located in the countryside about an hour outside of St. Louis and they brings people from all walks of life who are looking for a little rest & relaxation. As a guest, I love traveling and meeting new people. I love the idea of B&B's because I feel like it gives me a "local's insight" to the place I am visiting. I also love, love, love food...especially weird food and local fares!
