Other things to note
* We require all guests to sign our rental agreement after booking *

This is not a party house. We have close neighbors that will notice if a house party happening and call the police immediately. Anyone not listed on the rental agreement is not permitted to stay overnight at the house.

This is an antique house over 180 years old. Do not expect it to look or feel like a hotel when you arrive. The stairs will creak, the windows will rattle when it's windy, and you may experience paranormal activity in the house during your stay. If you are not comfortable for any reason during your stay please contact me immediately. I will do whatever possible to make your stay in Salem a wonderful and memorable experience.

Neighborhood highlights

We are located in the McIntire district which is right outside of downtown Salem. We are only steps to the Witch House on North/Essex streets and the Phillips House on Chestnut st. It is only a 5-10 minute walk to the Peabody Essex and Witch Museums, as well as the T which can take you into Boston or up to Rockport. The furthest attraction would be the House of Seven Gables which is about a 15 minute walk. There are also countless bars and restaurants all very close in walking distance. You could easily park your car at the house and spend a week without having to drive.

Lives in Salem, Massachusetts
I was born in Salem, MA and grew up at the Henry Derby House. My mother Peg started the bed & breakfast at our home when my sister and I were in college. My wife Jocelyn and I took over the B&B in 2012 and operated it for 3 years. We converted the B&B to a full house vacation rental in 2016 and now live nearby in Danvers with our 2 sons, Xander and Zachary and also our 2 cats Mookie and Kiké. My motto is “Every day is a holiday"
