One of a kind earth home built in 1983 nestled in the foothills just 2.6 miles above downtown Boise. The structure of this unique home is made of varying thicknesses of concrete. Owners purchased the home in 2008, residing until 2017. Since then, majority of their free time was spent working on thorough renovation which included new plumbing, electrical and HVAC system. Completed early April 2021, the long duration of time was taken to ensure that every detail was pristine.

The space
Although compact in size, the home is composed of four sleeping spaces and 2.5 bathrooms. Two formal bedrooms and two full size baths are located downstairs while two others, including a space designed specifically with tiny humans in mind, and the half bath are located in the dome loft area. Please be aware, the ceilings in the dome are concrete and not very tall therefore those spaces may not be very comfortable for guests over 6ft tall. Beds accommodate sleeping for 9 guests, tenth guest is possible on a twin size air mattress, pack n play, and/or toddler bed (all available for use however, require advanced request).
The common area features a flowing open concept. Trip enjoyment is our top priority when guests book a stay at our Boise Dome Home, therefore we take pride in making sure the home is stocked with essentials such as toilet paper, napkins, paper towels, disposable dishes (should you want to forgo washing dishes during your stay), a variety of coffees, teas and creamer, food storage bags and wrap. There is a plethora of amenities therefore, we encourage potential guests to look through our gallery to get a full description of everything offered.

Guest access
Parking is allowed on the driveway however, guests should be aware that it is quite steep. Some cars will hit when pulling onto the driveway, therefore parking on the driveway is at guest's own risk. Should guests park on the driveway, we respectfully request that the vehicle stays on the pavement. There is a drip line for our plants buried shallow in the rocks, we would not want a guest to unknowingly crush it. The property line is relatively long therefore, there is plenty of parking in front of the home on the street as well.

Winter driveway disclaimer: we will make every effort to clear the driveway between guests however, should the ground be snow or ice-covered we recommend guests park on the street in front of the home as getting up the driveway can be very difficult/dangerous.

Other things to note
Homeowners fully manage and maintain this home. This home is exclusively listed on Airbnb and no other vacation rental sites. If you find it somewhere else please notify us right away that there is a fraudulent home listed on another site. Thank you!!

Cleaning Fee Notice:
Fees charged ($215 per stay for 3+ nights and $185 per stay for 2 nights) cover basic deep cleaning, washing all linens used including blankets, and returning home to the state it was before your arrival. Excessive mess will result in additional fees.

By booking our home, you the booking guest agree to ensure the rules and check out protocols are followed and agree to be held responsible if they are not.

Check out protocols:
-Wipe down kitchen counters and cooktop, please take care by only using a washcloth on the cooktop,
-Wash all dirty dishes and put them away where you found them,
-Rinse out the kitchen sink,
-Please take or dispose of all food items brought with you,
-Put all used white towels in the bathtub. Colored towels should be put in laundry room hamper.
-Remove all linens from used beds, place blankets and pillows back on beds,
-Please empty ALL wastebaskets and place in the grey bin outside,
-Return all moved furniture including patio and garage furniture to the location they were found when you checked in,
-Thermostat: Summer 68 degrees and Winter 70 degrees
-MOST important task of all, please, please triple check that you have all your belongings. We cannot guarantee return of items left behind,
- please turn off all lights (LEDs too) make sure all exterior doors (excluding garage door) are locked when you leave,
-Please let Danielle know that you have checked out.


Please note: Pets of any kind are not allowed in our home. Two of our children are allergic. Evidence of pets will result in a hefty cleaning fee to make our home safe for our children to be once again. This applies to “hypoallergenic” animals as well.

Evan and Danielle Stein are the owners of Pristine Finish Construction, LLC a finish carpentry company out of Middleton, Idaho. Their primary business is newly constructed single family homes. Danielle also owns a construction cleaning company that prepares homes for their new owners once construction is complete. She will be personally cleaning and managing this listing. History of the home: Evan purchased this home in 2008 while he was a student at BSU. After residing in the home for 9 years expanding both their business and their family they decided it was time for more space. The home is so unique and in such a great location, they could not bare to give it up. They spent 4 years working every chance they had improving the space. The exterior structure is concrete therefore it was not altered only cosmetic improvements were made, everything else was replaced. Evan, Danielle, their teenage son, and other family members completed 95% of the renovation themselves. Installing new plumbing, electrical, framing, building cabinets at their shop in Middleton, tile, and all landscaping. This home is a project of love and passion. We truly hope guests can feel that and enjoy the space we have created to share.
