This casita is quiet and cozy, very inviting and fun — like nowhere you have ever stayed before. It is part earth ship and part magic! You will feel like you are sleeping in a fancy big kid treehouse. With a bathtub and full kitchen and all the amenities of home! Gardens outside are abundant with food during the summer months. The toilet is composting and there is lots of wide open space to roam. One thing to note is there is a queen bed in the loft which has a low ceiling.

The space
You will have your own home during your stay with us. We live on the same 35 acres but won’t disturb you unless you need something we are on site.

This home is a very unique place with a queen bed in the loft which does have a low ceiling, generally isn’t a problem since it is a space for sleeping. It is an entirely open space so there are no walls separating each room. The kitchen is clean and simple with a four stove top gas burners, a medium sized fridge, toaster oven, coffee maker and blender.

The is a small wood burning stove for those crisp nights, but generally the electric heater does the trick.

4WD is recommend in the winter months but just depends on the snowfall levels. Not always necessary. We keep it plowed.

When checking out please leave keys where you found them and leave all the doors unlocked. And just shoot us a quick message letting us know you have left.

Shoes off is great, but we know it isn’t for everyone. But helps keep things cleaner.
Things are very safe here. We do have bears and mountain lions from time to time, but very infrequent. FYI.
