About this listing
Our apartment is located in the part of Copenhagen named "Amager". Amager is a very dynamic area and has a lot of options for you - whether you want to explore all the 'must-see' attractions or you just simply want to feel the good vibe of the city.
Our home offers a bed/bedroom for two persons plus a baby bed. The kitchen is provided with all basic facilities such as fridge, dishwasher, toaster, stove etc.. In the living room there's a dining area and you can put up the hammock, if you want to take a nap. There's toilet/shower, Wi-Fi, TV (with a lot of channels), free parking and lovely backyard with a playground for small kids. The backyard is also suitable for BBQ and has benches and tables. You're welcome to use our grill.
The apartment is 15 minutes by bike from the city center and there's public transport on both sides of the road (drive every 4th minute). There're several grocery opportunities just around the corner, cozy cafés in the area and the big shopping mall "Field's" a couple of km away. If you want to enjoy the beach, "Amager Strandpark", it's a 20 minutes walk from our flat. It's nice to do as a retreat after walking for several hours in the city center.
To get from the Airport to our flat is really convenient. You don't have to change busses - there's one bus stopping just next to our street and it only takes around 15-20 minutes to get here from the Airport.
Let us know if there's something we can do for you - and thank you so much for stopping by our profile.
All the best,
Jakob & Helle
You're welcome to use the facilities in our home, but please bring your own toilet requisites (shampoo, toothpaste etc.) and your own food. We'll provide towels and bed lining -and of cause a map of Copenhagen!
We'll love to offer you this unique opportunity to enjoy your stay in a true Copenhagen apartment, but also expect you to treat our home with the same respect as you treat your own. And of cause we hope that you'll feel at home here.
Nous recommandons +++.
Stay at Helle's apartment was my best experience with Airbnb so far (out of 5). The instructions how to get from the airport and to pick up the keys were clear. Helle left for us at their apartment a map of the city with her tips where to go and what to see, which helped us a lot even though we have prepared ourselves also. Helle was also available on her mobile phone if we wanted to ask anything. Communication with Helle over emails was also quick and helpful. The apartment was clean and we were able to use anything we wanted (Helle and her husband with baby actually live in the apartment, but it was no problem at all). The location is close to the city center as well as to the airport (15 minutes by bus). Around the apartment you can find several supermarkets, bakeries, eateries, bike rentals, etc. I would recommend using a bike in Copenhagen. It is 10 minutes to the city center and you can see almost everything. I really liked the stay in Helles apartment and I would recommend it to any 2 people (couple or not) coming to Copenhagen. Thank you very much again Helle!
we stayed in their apartment for one week. as a plus, helle and her boyfriend borrowed us their bikes for that time, what was great! furthermore they provided us with a lot of helpful informations and tips about copenhagen. i can reall y recommend helle and jakob as hosts.
Great flat, very comfortable and easy walk/ride to the centre in town. We stayed a week and had a lovely stay.
About the Host, Helle
We're a Danish couple living in a cozy flat in lovely Copenhagen with our little 1-year-old daughter. We love travelling and our big passion has taken us to many places in the world.
What else can I say about us? We're laidback, we both love music, concerts - and what else the city has to offer. Jakob (my boyfriend) is working as a consultant in the car industry, and I'm working in a bank. We've a pratical dish washer, no pets, and a lot of tea light holders.
