  • I had a nice time staying in Marsha's house. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. Her dog Dottie was the sweetest and so well behaved! It was great coming home after a long day to Marsha's homemade soup! I would stay here again. : )

  • I was in CA for a one-month assignment and my work schedule proved to be a tough one. Having such a beautiful and well-cared for home to return to after a long shift made all the difference! Marsha was kind, generous, and interesting. She was easy to communicate with, and was very understanding about my schedule. I highly recommend her as a host!

  • Marsha is an incredible host. We arrived tired and hungry from an early morning flight and Marsha welcomed us and made lunch for us, an unexpected treat. By the end of our four day stay, we felt as though we were old friends.

The house is a lovely historic bungalow in one of the historic districts in Pomona and Marsha's decorating skills shine, from the hand-done sponge painted floor in our guest bedroom to the old stove in the kitchen. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of room for the two of us. Marsha also gave us full run of the house and when she saw I liked to do jigsaw puzzles, she had a new one for me every evening.

We were there to plan our move to Claremont for my husband's new job at one of the Claremont Colleges and the location, although not in Claremont itself, is very convenient to the colleges. Marsha also has a wealth of information about the area which she shared with us.

This was our first time using Airbnb and I am a total fan. If all hosts were like Marsha, the hotels industry would be in danger.
