The space
This Sea Captain's home has been fully modernized with central A/C and heat, a generator that turns on in case of blackouts, and fiber optic dedicated internet. The kitchen features a commercial 4-burner stove + griddle and extra large oven, as well as a bread machine, stand mixer, waffle maker and other conveniences. Laundry room on site with 2 washers and dryers. The outdoor space has a grill, hammock, tree swing, fire pit, outdoor shower, loungers, tables and chairs to complete the experience while you relax in the incredible gardens.

The house itself was built in the 1780s by Captain Isaiah Clark, with kitchen and laundry area added in 1834. A full remodel in the 1980s added individual bathrooms for each bedroom and extended the sunroom, porch and outdoor areas. A former inn, the bedrooms feature luxury beds, linens and blackout curtains for amazing sleep. 5 fireplaces, including 2 in common areas and 3 in bedrooms, have been converted to electricity.
