Experiement a true home in Venise.
This is not a hotel, nor a bed&breakfast. It is just a normal home that is often left over unoccupied , as I'm working in Paris.
Ideal for large groups of up to 9 people.
The appartement is ideally located close the the Rialto bridge. This very central location is close to many vaporretto (water bus) stops and you can walk almost to anywhere.
The surface is quite big (3200 ft² / 300m²) all on the same floor.
The appartement is composed of :
- A hall
- A living room
- A dinning room
- Three bathroom
- Five bedrooms
- The XVIII century room, double bed, view over the canal
- The Empire room, double bed, view over the canal
- The chineese room, double bed, view over the court, very calm
- The blue room, two single bed
- The turkish room, one single bed
- A fully equiped kitchen
- A laundry
Upon request, we can prepare two single beds were normally stand a double bed.
You can benefit from all the common areas such as the linving room or the kitchen. What a nice time to lay in the living room, drinking a glass of prosecco !
As it is a private appartement, everything is furnished as home. Food, drinks, coffee...are available, and we rely on host to replace whatever you may have used.
By the way, do not search for a TV, we don't have one, and we don't want to ! But I have put in place a wireless network for myself, and you can use it as much as you want.
You can plug your iphone or else to the sounds systems. I have left a wire that connect to the iphone. Otherwise you can use the CD player. Don't rely on the italian radios, they're not so good...
If we're not in Venice at the time of your stay, a friend will welcome you, deliver the keys and answer any of your question. We'll give all the details.
Please be aware that the rooms are usualy ready by 5PM (we need time to clean), but you can arrive earlier, rest in the living room, and leave your luggage home.
If you have more questions, the best way is to get in touch.
Once again, this isn't a hotel or a professional bed & breakfast. You're about to share the true venitian life !
Amazing flat in great Venice location - highly recommended!
Again in Venice, again in Edouard's apartment, again great.
Thank you to you and of course Antonio for making our visit possible on such short notice.
It is really difficult to describe this beautiful apartment and it's atmosphere.
If you are into a more classic style, this is it.
I can't say anything negativ, because for me there is nothing negative.
We visited with four children and they also were again very happy.
Thank you once more.
Till next year.
Dear Edouard, We had a wonderful time in your appartment. At a certain stage we were 9 of us and to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary we had a dinner in the diningroom "Venetian Style" with wigs + masks + tache de beaute. It was magical!
Just one small criticism the bathrooms need some upgrading.
Once again many thanks, we will come back to Venice.
Maarten and Eva.
It's a great apartment. It has a lot of space, and character.
We where a group of 8 people, and loved the atmosphere.
The location is very central by Vaporao or by walking.
The best thing is the big dining room and the supermarket nearby with all the goodies.
An unforgettable experience!
Beautiful Venetian apartment on a grand scale. Very comfortable and well located. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your Edouard, we loved it.
The flat is in true Venetian style, just want you want when visiting this beautiful city. Spacious, very central and close to Rialto Bridge. It has the wow factor!
Antonio, the owner's concierge, has been amazing: very helpful and available, just what you need when you rent a property you are not familiar with.
We were really happy with the experience and the property, would recommend.
Amazing apartment, amazing location. Love the views down two different canals. Also can see out to grand canal from dining room. Close to Rialto & 11 minute walk to San Marco. Great spot to catch a gondola or vaporetto. Also our host Antonio was very helpful, always responding to our phone call on first ring practically! Very spacious apt & very quiet building. Love to hear the gondoliers outside and watch all the boats pass by. Close to some of the best restaurants in Venice. Would return again. Thank you Edouard & Antonio!
We had the most wonderful stay at Edouard's place for the past week and are so grateful to the hospitality of Antonio throughout the week. The flat is exactly as you see in the pictures - spacious and beautifully appointed with everything you need to cook for yourself or perhaps have a few friends over for prosecco. The flat is also extremely conveniently located near the Rialto Bridge in a quiet courtyard away from the touristy madness. Grocery stores are close by and we found ourselves never wanting to leave the flat - though we had to as we were in town for work! But returning after a long day was such a pleasure - thank you Edouard and Antonio for everything. We hope to see you again next time!
We were a group of 9 friends staying here in may 2013. We had the apartment all to ourselves, and it was so spacious we didn't even get to use the big dining room, as we were out to eat every night!
The location is exellent, just minutes away from the Rialto bridge, everything you need is very close.
Our contact person, Antonio, was the most helpful person ever, and also a practical person with lots of knowledge and always available. One in the group didn't get her luggage when we arrived at the airport and Antonio immediatly took charge and made sure that everything went well with getting the luggage to our adress.
Every day it was nice to know that when we came to our "home" in Venice we came to this little gem of a place. We would enjoy the boats and the gondols on the canal, and the luxury of having our own kitchen where we would eat breakfasts together.
The apartment was clean, and extra plusses for excellent Wi-Fi coverage. We had many web-addicts in the group and some brought their work to Venice, so it was a big relief for us that the Wi-Fi was flawless and fast.
Some in the group were nervous about the squeeky floors, but I personally found them charming. I would definitly recommend people to stay here if you have the chance.
