Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
A classic Adirondack camp situated on 37 acres, with a half-mile of lakeshore on beautiful Lake Abanakee. A fun vacation destination for adults or family, with fishing, hiking, paddling, biking, and swimming available right outside your cabin’s door. Our central Adirondack Mountain location makes easy day trips possible to the Olympic venues of Lake Placid, Gore Mountain, or the 46 High Peaks. The lodge retains the cozy, rustic ambiance of the Adirondack style.

The space
Cabin 1 is a cozy space featuring a large entrance space for visiting with family, enjoying the view of the lake or getting some work done from the woods. This cabin has a full kitchen with gas stove and full size refrigerator.

Guest access
You have direct access to the lake from your cabin. There's a small dock you can use to access the lake. There's also a beach located on the north end of the property where you can put a row boat or kayak into the water.

We provide one row boat per cabin. The boats and oars are stored at the beach.

Other things to note
Please note: We are now providing bed linens and bath towels/bath mats for guests staying throughout the winter season (through Memorial Day 2024)!


*Please bring your own firewood if you'd like to use outdoor fire pit.

*Please bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid for the outdoor grill.

Hi my name is Duncan. I live in Tucson, Arizona with my wife, Tara, and our dog Finn. I'm an avid golfer, sports fan and I love to travel. I grew up on the east coast outside of Philadelphia. Most of my family and my wife's family still live back east in upstate New York and Pennsylvania. I'm excited to host travelers and friends at our family's cabins in the Adirondack mountains.
