The space
***When booking, please give as many details about your stay as you feel comfortable with. It greatly enhances our hosting experience!***

Located in between Soldotna and Homer, a summer day at The Cottage at Cohoe Fish Camp can involve: sipping morning coffee watching the seals chase the fish into our set-nets, witnessing Mt. Redoubt's volcano steam, seeing the eagles swoop to catch fish going dry on the beach, watching boats wrestle the waves and beach with loads of fish (fish you may purchase and fillet right on site if you happen to be there on a fish day), fishing the Kasilof river, beachcombing, berry picking down the road, and endless exploring!

The Cottage exists on a commercial fishing property that operates seasonally mid-June through early-August, along with 3 other rentals and fishermens quarters. While the property is shared, guests at The Cottage will enjoy the privacy of a house equipped with standard house amenities. The Cottage has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, television and DVD player (with an updated DVD assortment and video rental store nearby, as there is no WiFi [but we are now in cellphone reception/data range]), fireplace, games, personalized reading material, and a washer and dryer. We also offer picnic basket and beach play items to make the most of your stay.

Have a bigger group? We have two furnished dry cabins (one queen bed in each) that can be added on to your stay for $75/night, no extra cleaning fee--must ask to have these added on at the time of making a booking request. These cabins are not hooked to running water and will use The Cottage as home base :)

Whether you want a private escape away from society, or you are looking for an adventure and new experiences, The Cottage at Cohoe Fish Camp is there for you.

Where you’ll be

Kasilof, Alaska, United States

Located 14 miles from Soldotna, our property lies between Soldotna and Ninilchik. Perfect location if you are interested in visiting the peninsula, including Homer. The town of Kasilof has a mercantile (where some groceries are available), Rocky’s Cafe (awesome breakfast!), and the Kasilof River (amazing fishing). We are 7 miles from the Kasilof.

We have long term renters in another building who own an outdoor dog (Ketchikan, or Ketch). He is black and white. If any other dog is around, it would be our fishermen neighbors.
