The Causeway is a new build luxury chalet, a home from home.
Set in an idyllic location by the sea, where you can enjoy the peace and quiet while spotting the otters, herons feeding and fish leaping in the loch in front of the chalet.
Central for visiting the many attractions that Skye has to offer.

The space
Open plan lounge kitchen with all the amenities, smart tv, recliner chair and settee, oven, microwave, induction hob, dishwasher, utility room with fridge freezer, washing machine and dryer, iron and ironing board.
Fully tiled bathroom with bath and separate shower.
Bedroom with a splendid view over the loch, king sized bed, crisp white linen and quality towels.
USB ports in most sockets in lounge and bedroom

Enjoy our ever evolving garden where you can sit and further enjoy the bird life including the golden eagle which circles above our property, in the spring the oyster catcher lays her eggs just outside our garden fence while last spring the sand piper made her nest in the wild garden in front of the chalet (no guarantee that it will return this spring) the otters are often seen at play and feeding. We sometimes have a visit from the mink.

Other things to note
We supply a starter pack which includes the basics to get you going, tea, coffee, milk, sugar ect.
The nearest supermarket is a 20 min drive so it is advisable to stock up before arrival.
When you arrive on Skye you cross the bridge and head for Broadford where there is a supermarket, then head for Portree/Dunvegan, at Sligachan Hotel (18 miles from Broadford) you turn left toward Dunvegan, Struan is a further 14 miles.

The main town of Portree is 20mins drive, while Dunvegan with its famous castle and gardens is 20mins drive, The Talisker distillery is also about 30 mins drive, and the world famous Three chimneys restaurant is a half hour drive (booking in advance essential) Too many attractions to list like the fairy pools, fairy glen, the old man of storr to mention just a few! It is a good base to travel to most parts of the Island.
