This apartment is simple, cozy and centrally located, right next to the Vatican embassy. It has an easy access to Taksim, metro station, busses, and the ferry boat.
Long story short: You do not have to deal with the famous Istanbul traffic :)
It's a entrance floor apartment (there is no elevator) with 1 double bed, 1 sofa / bed, hot water, wireless internet connection, tv, dining table, refrigerator, microwave, stove, coffee/tea machine + all cooking equipment, towels, hairdryer, iron, and a vacuum cleaner.
About the Location:
- 10 minutes walk to Taksim (Istiklal avenue)
- 5 minutes walk to metro station (which is linked to many places; Old city, Galata, Kabatas tramway and ferry to asian side),
- 10 minutes walk to Nisantasi district
How to get here:
Private transfer from Ataturk Airport for 1-3 persons will cost about 30 euro. However there is also the option to take the Havatas instead of a taxi. From the apartment it is only a 10 minutes walk to the airport shuttle (Havatas).
Proper choice to enjoy Istanbul to its fullest, and to be honest: you do not want to miss it :)

Great experience at Suzan and Eren. They were able to welcome me despite my late flight from Europe. The apartment has all it needs and more and is close to critical landmarks in Istanbul, shops, taxis etc. I definitely recommend it.
The house is really clean and very close to Metro station. Some people find the place small but actually I think it's perfect for two people with all things you need for a house. The area is also convenient to find food or groceries shopping. The manager Enes is very helpful, we got the credit card issue with the cake shop close by (they charged us 250 lira instead of 25 lira and we didn't notice the receipt till we got home), he helped us to meet them and explained to them in Turkish so that we got the money back. Good experience. Highly recommend!
The apartment was neat, clean, close to taksim, and public transportation. I would really recommend it. Eren was also kind in arranging private transfer from the airport directly to the apartment :)
The service before the arrival was excellent. After arriving some problems surfaced. The technical problems (window, heating) were fixed within a few hours. The remaining issues were that the appartment was not as proper and clean (mold in the bathroom, floor not cleaned, cracks on walls and thresholds, door knobs not working well). People were really nice, but should pay more attention to renovation or update the fotos.
Eren & Suzan's apt accommodated three people comfortably and it was easy using the apt company down the street to check-in and out. The location was perfect to get to Taksim Center and there is a restaurant on the main drag that sells the best c(h)orba at a reasonable price (ask the apt renters).
The facilities were clean and well maintained and the location was even good enough for the Pope (who stayed across the street from us)! Everyone was very friendly and overall it was an enjoyable experience! I would stay here again if I were in Istanbul.
Overall the place was nice, clean and as shown/described. No problems whatsoever. Ihsan, from the property management office, was of great help. While the apartment is a bit small and is located on a steep street, I would recommend it for a short break in Istanbul. P.S. it is very close to Taksim and Istiqlal--prime location.
Overall, we had a great stay at this small apartment. We arrived late on a Monday, and the key was not where is was supposed to be. I called Eren, however, and he arrived within 20 minutes or so to let us in, show us the place, and give us keys.
The location of the apartment is great. It was about a 10 minute walk north of Taksim Square, which makes it a great base to see what there is to see in Istanbul. The Taksim area in general was a good place to stay, as it is removed from the hyper-touristic Old Town.
The apartment itself was small but well appointed for a couple. It's a basic place, but we were able to do a bit of cooking and some laundry, which was very convenient. There is a healthy bit of mildew in the shower (the bathroom doesn't seem well-vented), but it was clean otherwise.
I would stay here again.

We all like to travel, play sports, watch movie, enjoy drinks... but to summarize myself in one sentence, I can say that "I'm a south park, star wars and nba fan".
When I heard of Airbnb, I said 'why not?'.
Getting to know new people, welcoming them, helping and guiding them in my local area is wonderful privilege.
I try to make sure that you enjoy not only my house, but also your Istanbul experience.
That's basically me :)
