As we shared with Patti, she was a warm, welcoming and gracious host. The room was accurately described and we were greeted each morning with coffee in the cozy country kitchen. It was a great location for hiking, walking and biking. Our first air b&b experience and we are already talking about when we can return. A perfect retreat for our fall foliage weekend.
Patti is such a generous, friendly person and made our experience in New Hampshire unforgettable! We were greeted with fresh apple pie, given a tour of her unique 150-year-old farm house, and introduced to her lively little dogs. The bed was comfy (and squeaky, but it's an antique so this is to be expected), the surroundings were gorgeous, and the people in the town were very welcoming.
Would definitely stay with Patti again, especially during the second week of October to see all of the beautiful fall colors!
Aaaaaahhh Patti! Aaaaahh Sutton! Aaaahh Nell and Nelson! What can we say... We literally had 'the perfect vacation'. Our stay in New Hampshire was way beyond our expectations. And we really "mean" this. Pattis house, her garden, the surrounding, the lake, the area - simply beautiful and so charming; but what made our stay so memorable and special, is Patti herself. She is a real gem, a person one truly doesn't find often. She is smart, funny, a wonderful conversationalist and a warmhearted and caring host. Needless to say, we also fell in love with her Jack Russells Nell and Nelson and if we could have packed all three of them in our suitcase, we would have taken them home...Then again,,,who would we visit next time?? ;-) We won a new friend (3 new friends) and couldn't be happier about it. Thank you guys! 3
Lovely old farmhouse with a terrific view of her flowers and the countryside. Patti is a vivacious and well spoken woman. We had a lovely time staying there. We also took a 3 mile hike around Kezar Lake, and had a swim (clearly we are talking about summer in NH!)
We had a very nice time staying for several days in Patti's charming home while attending the local Craftsmen's Fair at Mt. Sunapee. Patti is a lovely, generous host who made us feel very welcome. Her home provides the feeling of staying in a historic NH home surrounded by beautiful gardens. She let us use her kitchen and refrigerator, which was greatly appreciated. The bath had good hot water and the bedroom was comfortable enough (although the bed was quite squeaky – my spouse chose to sleep in the 2nd smaller bed since the squeaks kept waking her up!) And the dogs are fun & energetic, which was fine by us since we are dog people. All & all, it was an enjoyable stay and we were happy to have spent a few days in Patti's corner of the world.
I had a great time staying at Patti's for about 10 days. The bedrooms are spacious and clean. Patti is a great person and respects your privacy. We have had a lot of enjoyable discussions over the past couple of weeks and I'm certainly looking forward to staying here once more!
The very energetic Jack Russells are a delightful company and I'll definitely miss them!
We had a great experience. Patti Cohen is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. She is thoughtful, welcoming and funny. This was our first airbnb experience, and we feel very fortunate to have found such a wonderful host. This was a particularly fun experience for us because we're dog lovers and were totally charmed by Patti's two energetic Jack Russells. Our room was comfortable, and the location is great - very close to the highway but tucked away in a beautiful rural town. Patti made us feel completely at home, and we already miss her. We highly, highly recommend Patti and her home to anyone traveling in the area.
